Cheap but VERY cheerful places to stay. No real "frills" but if you want a comfortable and clean place to stay that covers the basics well, i would highly recommend Travelodge to anyone. Coffee/Tea making facilities (extra coffee made readily available), not a brilliant wifi service but ok. Good hot shower, Could do with a few more television channels but... More

I only arrived her at 10:00 PM, as the hotel I booked was fully booked. The hotel was just fine for one night. It is cheap and don't expect something special. There is nothing to do near the hotel. There is a Burger King on the same ground and that is about all yopu can get. There are a few... More

Clean and tidy, very local to where I needed to be and not fully booked. In need of modernisation, old fashioned rooms. It is close to Burger King, Little Thief and a petrol station which is good and the town of Thrapston is only a mile away. the rooms are in need of modernising the old CRT TV's with limited... More

Review in respect of a one night stay booked the same day. I have tended to move away from this Brand, and only booked as this was the only chain accommodation available in the Kettering area. That said I think that for the very reasonable price ( last minute, not pre booked promotion) I was pleasantly reminded that budget can... More

Easy to find and easy check in. On entering the room it smelled like someone had been smoking. Room was old, tired and out dated - especially the bathroom, but it was clean. The textured parts of the furniture edges had in ground dirt, and the arms of the sofa bed were also dirty. We paid for extra wi fi... More

A good overnight stay - Check in was a little slow but the room was clean not really suitable for disabled access due to bathroom having a bath not a disabled wet room. Great location with Burger King and little Chef onsite.

We stayed here as a stopover on our way to Dover. We arrived at 9pm and left at 7am, so was not in the hotel for very long. The hotel is easy to find and was in a good location for what we needed, however the rooms stank of smoke and the bed was uncomfortable. However given that we only... More

I had a comfortable stay at Thrapston Travelodge and was extremely impressed by the genuine helpfullness of the staff when I lost my car keys. They really went out of their way to help me find them and did not make me feel a nuisance.

Like all these hotels, it is good value for money. Found accessing the local town very difficult, the rooms weren't refurbished at the time, so were never going to be fantastic. They were clean, comfortable, not problems that any of the staff could do anything about. But wouldn't go again, because of the siting.

I use Travelodges as a late-minute resort knowing what to expect, usually basic but adequate, and a reliable cheap price. Some are better than others, some have been revamped, this Travelodge seemed adequate, friendly staff member on check-in however the 6 hours of continuous noise of screaming, shouting and general carrying on from a room adjacent to mine on the...
