We booked a double room and were given the most amazing room, with a wonderful 4 poster bed, beautifully decorated in a old part of the hotel The staff very helpful and extremely pleasant. Breakfast was very good, with lots of choices. Only downsides, we were charged for drinks on our bill, that we didn't have, and it took some... More

When we arrived the pictures that were put on the website were not even pictures of the actual hotel, when questioning the manager regarding this he said no hotel puts pictures up of the actual rooms. When we were shown to our so called superior room we were absolutely disgusted, there were holes... More

What a fabulous stay we had at this hotel!!! The staff were really lovely and tried really hard to make your stay a pleasant one. There did not seem to be a lot of staff, but this did not stop them making every effort. We had a three course meal in the restaurant, which was thoroughly enjoyable. Not a la... More

15 of us pre-booked Sunday lunch. On arrival, the bar area was comfortable, and we were called when our table was ready. One long table very well prepared, and the owner and staff were superb with nothing being too much trouble. Best carvery lunch ever, all freshly cooked, sirloin beef moist and tasty and all the vegetables were delicious. The... More

This has to be the worst and most dirty hotel I've ever stayed it. It's very dangerous for two reasons if your frail and prone to falls don't use it has so many faults with the floor boards and holes and dents everywhere covered with carpets so you can't even see them and course I twisted my ankle. Second the... More

On entering the bedroom I was disappointed to see the window was held open by a rolled up magazine. Although the staff were pleasant the food was not. We booked our stay of two nights via Amazon Local which stated that the price we paid was a saving of 40%. Whilst at the hotel we noted in the local magazine... More
