Would stay again if they had larger family rooms instead of having to book two seperate rooms as more expensive than just a family room on its own and i hate having to split myself and husband up along with the children just so we could stay their.

Located in a convenient services area on the A45 near Rushden. It's an older-style Travelodge with a standard layout. The room was comfortable and the staff were pleasant and helpful and there was little road noise. Only one complaint. When I wanted to have a shower at 5 am there was insufficient water pressure to do this.

Used this a couple of times to visit family in the area. Does what is says, ok to put your head down! room was very tired, and not cleaned well. behind the service station with an american diner next door. just across the dual carriageway is a retail park with a large waitrose food and home!

Not the best Travelodge I've stayed in, but by no means the worst! First room given was clean except bed looked unmade. No fuss from staff who gave me another room. This one had no operational heater, but the bed was comfy and it was very quiet, considering you're adjacent to the A45 bypassing Rushden. I did mention the heater... More

Very cheap (£15), clean, quiet. What more can I say? No food on site (breakfast box looked horrendous), but Rushden & Wellingborough are close. Just ensure you realise it is on the A45, and trips to the aforementioned towns require a bit of a drive.

This place is all that represents a bad and run down travelodge! My first night was booked for me just up the road at ibis at £45 then I was booked here for five nights and all paid up front. My room smells so bad I went across the road to waitrose to buy bleach to clean the bathroom! My... More

When you pay £22 for a room behind a petrol station on a bypass in Northamptonshire your expectations are not the highest. And on this occasion they were met. No frills, no fuss, no dent on your wallet. If you have to be in the area and dont want to kip in your car then this is an option.
