Beautifully furnished hotel with interesting history. Comfortable room, excellent nights sleep (despite wedding function in the hotel). Good menu in dining room & varied choice at breakfast - lovely waitresses. Convenient parking at rear of hotel but may be an issue if you arrive later & there is a function on.

Stayed over the Bank Holiday weekend with friends. The hotel is full of character, and has recently been refurbished to a high standard. Went for Afternoon Tea as a treat for my birthday and it was superb, the food was so delicious, the selection of sandwiches, biscuits and cakes was lovely and so much!! The staff very professional, polite and nothing was too much trouble. Loved it and will be visiting again.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a weekend getaway. We loved it. The food was wonderful the staff were warm and friendly and the service was absolutely fantastic. The rooms are lovely and have large en-suites. The grounds are well kept and the history of the building rounded of a great stay
