Managed to get 3 nights at £19 a night. Situated on A14 just after juntion 9, which means you have to travel to juntion 8 to get into kettering. Or travel to juntion 8 go back up the A14 turn of and come back down the road to juction 9 to get to cinema, fast food resturants and supermarkets. Which... more

This is a standard Travelodge and located directly by the side of the A14, adjacent to a petrol station and a fast-food diner. The reception was very friendly and the bedroom room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, if Spartan in the extreme. good points: comfortable beds..thats it bad points: on main A14 dual carriageway, situated as part of service area, shared with BP garage and little chef, no other buildings nearby. tap wouldn't turn off correctly, shower control missing, bed side lights didn't work. room not too noisy considering its position and the constant roar of lorry noise. only suitable as somewhere... more
