Stayed for couple days with friend after Christmas. Room was ok, clean and cozy. Perfect location everything near by. Really friendly staff especially during the breakfast served by lovely woman with long blond braid she greeted us with huge smile, really kind person!!! I'm glad we visited this hotel and will return there for sure!

Stayed with a friend for a few nights. Friendly staff, but hotel down at heel and shabby, with carpets and fittings showing extensive wear. I was given a room near my friend, and found someone else's clothes in there. Apologies, and I was shown to another room by a member of staff. This time we managed to walk in on... More

Stayed here last night. I imagine the hotel knows what it needs to improve on, but i certainly couldn't fault my room. ... Felt new and spotless. Breakfast was a bit more haphazard in terms of service and the area to eat is very old fashioned but for the price i cant fault it and qwerky is better than normal... More

Our room was better than we had expected from reviews we had read before our arrival. It faced the main street and we had a lavely view of the church. The staff in the reception greeted us and gave us accurate information. A bit busy in the morning and the waiter seemed to be a bit confused. There are other... More

The web information says that this hotel is a five minute walk from the train station. It is but its along an unlit road, up a bit of a hill and taxis are unwilling to go there as it doesn't register on the meter! Not nice as a solo female arriving at 9 30 on a cold rainy night! On... More

Stayed overnight in a single bedroom. From the moment I checked in the staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. Room 334 was large and warm with an ensuite bath and shower. Everything was clean and in good order. Bar was quiet and closed at 11pm. My bed was comfortable and had a good nights sleep. Breakfast the next morning was... More

On arrival at the hotel I was a little nervous looking at the rear exterior of the hotel, 1970's cladding, in need of renovation. The front of the hotel was much updated and obviously has had work done recently. I was delighted that I got an upgrade to the junior suite, when I had only booked a double room. The... More
