Had a short stay at this place many years ago - very atmospheric, old, tasteful and noble place. Had a great quality breakfast and walked around. Visited the nearby St Mary's church that was built in the 13th century and is a Grade I listed building and contains the Knightley family tombs including effigies of the 16th century Sir Richard... Stayed for one night 19th October 2014 in room no. 8. We had afternoon cream tea, dinner bed & breakfast. The staff are without exception all excellent and a credit to the hotel. The food was truly divine. The building of the hotel is truly magnificent . We walked to the church that is in the field next to the... More

We have stayed at two other Hand Hotels. This one is isolated, but modern Elizabeth in style. It has been rebuilt from a shell, but the core is honest Elizabeth medieval build, and the great Hall is fabulous. The afternoon tea looked fab, although we did not have time to partake. They were very popular from all the reserved places... More

I decided to treat my mum to afternoon tea at Fawsley Hall as I had heard that it was a beautiful place, and I had read many of the great reviews online, even looking on Instagram to try and get a peak at what we'd actually be eating. I rang and booked a few weeks before, and also e-mailed to... More

Over the past year, there have been many major improvements at Fawsley Hall since the ownership has changed. I’ve stayed at Fawsley Hall many times in the past (see previous review) and stayed again recently. The investments that the new owners have made in infrastructure, decoration, new staff and staff training have certainly paid off. The food, service, and the... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments and photos on this site and especially for your continued support of Fawsley Hall Hotel. Since take over, the last twelve months have been incredibly exciting for myself and the team, although certainly challenging, but like you noted the investment in the property and the team itself has been rewarding... This is definitely one of the more luxury hotels I have stayed in the UK. Beautiful scenery. This is the place to chill for the weekend. Breakfast, lunch and high tea were at a high standard. Lovely spa and especially enjoyed the outdoor hot tub at the spa. Bring your walking gear! It has the most magnificent "Great Hall". If... More

Booked for a spa weekend through Mr & Mrs Smith. The building is fabulous and promises much yet inside there is a disconnect with it's history. It's well done but is missing something. Room was good, only one robe provided and the shower a single walk in. Dinner reasonable but.... Pre prepared sections on the plate clearly identified by their... More

Thank you for your comments following your recent stay here at Fawsley Hall. I certainly agree that the property is incredibly impressive. Since take over last year with have invested heavily into the refurbishment and renovation of the public areas and guest bedrooms and have received excellent feedback to date on this, therefore it saddens me to read that the... Stayed for two nights on business. i will definitely be back both socially and on business. Great service, food was very very good and good wines. Room was very very good. Great bed. Woke up to a lovely view of the open country side. Coffee, tea, scones all great. Relaxed atmosphere and a very impressively renovated "great hall" sitting room.... More

My wife and I got married at Fawsley Hall in May 2014. We were lucky enough to be able to be married in the 12th century church on site which was spectacular. In the lead up to the wedding the venue changed hands and was bought by the Hand Picked group. At first we were slightly concerned that this would... More

Had a lovely Spa Day with my daughter yesterday, hotel, staff and facilities are very good and would visit again. The only disappointment is that it was very cold in the small eating area where we had lunch, so much so, myself and other guests had to keep our coats on.

I’m so happy to read that you and your daughter had such a lovely day here at Fawsley and enjoyed your time in the Spa. We have certainly seen a change in the weather of late but this should not have impacted your time with us, therefore I will certainly make note of this to the relevant Team Manager for... More
