St. Clair Place is an easy walk to the downtown area and is a beautiful old home that is being lovingly restored by a great family. We enjoyed our stay for two nights but found the bed to be one of the most uncomfortable in which we've ever attempted sleep. The place is mostly long term guests in town on business, which is likely why there were no suites available. We hope they have better mattresses. We stayed in the Annie Oakley, which would not be our choice again, although okay. Breakfast was wonderful and the hosts/owners are great people. We'd stay again if the mattress situation was improved. We may return to the area to do more genealogy and to visit the winery in Versailles, which we enjoyed. more
