We stayed as a family group of 12 at the Windmill Inn, in the tiny village of Badby 17th/19th April 2015 for a family church wedding at nearby Eydon. 10 of us had a 3 course dinner there on the Friday evening in the main dining room and the food and wine was very good, working out to a very... The rooms aren't huge but do have ensuite,I think for space the doubles are better than the twins 10 of us ate in the restaurant on the Friday night. We sat drinking wine on the couches and... More

We had a lunch for 28 people to celebrate our Golden Wedding. From our initial visit, we were confident that The Windmill would be a good venue and were not disappointed. The food, service and surroundings were perfect and we had lots of complimentary comments from our guests. A special thank you to Jacqui (the general manager) for her attention... More

In the tiny village of Badby is the pub called The Windmill. It is a family run pub, stone built with a thatched roof. We stopped in just based on the street appeal, which is good. It has a good pub food menu and 12 taps, 4 of which are hand pumped. There are 8 rooms in the accommodation to... More

Thatched roof, roaring fire, rooms clean & tidy, beautiful walks, fantastic hearty food are just a few things that spring to mind after our recent stay. Steve and the team excelled in making myself & my family welcome, almost a home from home. With the locals being very welcoming(in some places visitors are frowned upon) and the ambience that Steve... More

We booked The Windmill for a group booking the night before our wedding and Steve and the team couldn't have been more helpful. It happened to coincide with the Wales v England six nations match and Steve and the team were amazing.....they made a telly available so we could watch the match, coped with two dozen people eating and laid... Booked here as part of my partners birthday present. We were greeted by Jackie, who it can be said that nothing was too much trouble. We were allocated the windmill room which was spacious had a good bed and large bathroom. We had soup and warm ciabatta for an impromptu snack before going for a walk in Badby woods. After... More

Yet again we had an excellent night. There was plenty to chose from on the menu, the food was cooked to perfection. Some of our friends stayed over and they said how pleased they were with their rooms. Thanks to Jacqui and the staff for a great night.

Stayed here two nights with the dog - first was very cold because we hadn't had chance to work out the heater programmer, second one much better. Heater in bathroom didn't work though reported it after first night. Breakfast was good (incl veggie sausage if preferred) but an itemised menu would be helpful. Free wifi but doesn't reach rooms.
