Like most reviewers, we stayed here on a Groupon deal which at £129 for 3 nights bed and breakfast was amazing value. The room (3) was lovely with a big comfy bed and stunning views out onto the dales. Bathroom was perfect with a very powerful shower. No bath but then we knew that when we booked. Breakfast was great... More

We booked long ago for the Tour de France period, having stayed and eaten several times before at the PB and it's partner pub, The CB in Arkengarthdale. As always, accommodation was very comfortable with a great view of the Dale, service was friendly and efficient and food was very good. The young staff are very committed to the place... More

We stayed in the Punch Bowl Inn for 2 nights on Friday 18th July using a Groupon voucher. From the minute we arrived til the minute we left we where treated very well. We stayed in room 11 which is the upper half of the barn conversion, we felt more like we where staying in a cottage as it has... More

Stayed here like many others on a Groupon deal (for 2 nights) the week after the Tour De France had gone through. Certainly the whole of the Yorkshire Dales had spent a massive amount of time and effort making sure everywhere was looking its best for the Tour and a week later it was still looking brilliant. I have to... More

I booked our overnight stay using a Groupon voucher - and was extremely pleased with our meals and accommodation. We did upgrade our room for a small fee, due to lack of availability of the standard Groupon deal - the room we stayed in was huge with king size bed, cupboards and seating with plenty of room for our luggage... We had booked a groupon deal for this establishment and arrived at The Punch Bowl Inn 2 days after the Tour de France. The staff were lagging but the welcome that we received was warm, friendly and very efficient; in fact we had to slow down our greeter to have a drink in the bar. It was clear that due... More

Have only dined here which we did today for lunch. Beautiful weather and if sitting outside the view almost makes other elements superfluous. However the food was good, the chips especially so, prices very reasonable service sadly a little lacking, I have been fortunate to dine in some of the finest restaurants in the world BUT nowhere comes anywhere close... If it`s a traditional country pub your after where you can enjoy a few drinks and a chat this is`nt the place. This is one of those new breed of places that looks like a pub but appears to be a restaurant with the odd stool at the bar.Made to feel a bit like second class citizens because our party just... Lovely meal at the PB. Staff were very welcoming and food was beautiful. Although you WILL have room for pudding as mains were very modest. However quality was extremely high. Would like to go back for lunch or to stay.

Like a previous reviewer, we also arrived first on a Saturday evening when the restaurant was fully booked and the bar was about to play host to a wedding party. Unlike the previous reviewer we were met with helpful staff who suggested they could fit us in for a meal if we could finish within just under an hour for... More
