this was a well placed stop over .clean well staffed and good parking. we had a room facing the car park quite a bit of road noise from the A1. Little Chef on site breakfast was good with helpful staff. We would stay there again.

Stayed here on Friday and Saturday night (14,15,16). Its what you expect from a Travel lodge, clean with what you need. It is in the process of being done up and it needs it. Kids not very happy with the pull out beds as they were rock hard but on the whole a good visit.

My wife and I stayed at this Travelodge for a night whilst visiting North Yorkshire. The hotel was sat at the back of a small Little Chef restaurant and very difficult to pull off the busy A1 Road, no deceleration lane so its upon you very quickly. The check was very easy and smooth and the Receptionist was very helpful,... More

We stayed with our two children and dog en route to our holiday cottage near Bamburgh. Very clean, very comfy and staff were lovely. The only criticism we would have is that the sign for the hotel is obscured and we shot past and ended up at the next Travel Lodge asking for directions back! As the A1 was then... More

Stayed here one night whilst driving up to Glasgow to get a flight Hotel very dated and looked more like motel In dire need of modernisation however beds were Comfy which was the main thing Didn't eat at the little chef and stopped a few miles down the road at subway which was a lot cheaper

For the price this lodge represents excellent value. The room and bedding were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was well maintained and the shower had great water pressure. We left very happy. This Travelodge is in very close proximity to another, also located at Scotch Corner, and could be better sign posted.

This Travelodge has apparently been refurbished but it is hard to see where, yes the bed has been changed and it was very comfortable, BUT the furniture in the three different rooms I stayed in had seen better days and was threadbare and definitely needed replacement as far as I could see refurbishment means a new bed and a lick... Very comfortable bed and the room was very clean. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful and gave us information about places to eat in the locality. Our only complaint was the signage to the hotel is slightly obstructed by the trees on the roadside.

no weddings here so no noise into the small hours. The A1 was closed overnight but the staff were really helpful explaining the diversion. the traffic was light and we found the Yorkshire Dales Autograss track no problem.

We stayed here for one night with small children and had no problems. The room was perfectly clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were provided directions when we discovered some road closures that night. If I'm in that neck of the woods I will stay again.
