Clean room which was basic, but it did all that it needed to. The bed, and pillows were fantastic, a great sleep! The shower was not out of this world, but, again it did do what it was supposed to. :-)

A ideal place for a stop over The only problem we had was a small child running around in the room above us so next time we well ask for a room on the upper floor . Why the parents didnt stop the child i dont know .We will stay again .

We picked this hotel because it was on our route to Scotland. The hotel is dated and not as clean as I would really like but for the money it met my expectations. This along with so many Travelodge hotels did nothing to change my opinion of them as cheap and basic hotels, I prefer the opposition by far.

Having stayed st this hotel a number of times I was pleased to stay there again to break up long journeys over the Christmas holidays. The twin travel cots I requested were set up ready and all was as expected.

Conveniently situated near Scotch Corner. Rooms were clean and comfortable and well sound proofed. Added bonus was 10% off the entire bill at the Shoulder of Mutton where we had planned to eat anyway!

This is a very well located service area, being a little way off the A1 so traffic noise is no problem. There is ample parking space and a refurbished Travel Lodge. The service are has some good outlets including a clean and friendly Costa for good coffee and casual food and an extremely useful small Marks and Spencer store alongside... More

stayed here for 1 night travelling to England. staff on check in were excellent. The room was comfortable enough for the price paid. the only problem was the inconsiderate noisy family across from us who let their children scream and shout till very late and slammed doors constantly. Sadly, this isn't the hotel's fault, but did put us off staying... More

Pretty much bog-standard Travelodge, but the refurbishment has brought some real benefits: very comfortable bed, nice appearance to the bedroom and everything else you need is available. Friendly, efficient reception. We had a discount code and for the two nights we were there it was very good value indeed. (N.B. Free wi-fi for 30 minutes on your day of arrival... More

2 night stay for family celebration - dire - rooms 127-130 stink of damp - due to all the guttering of the entire dilapidated building being blocked (weeds / plants growing from it). Staff were really welcoming however this in no way made up for the very poor lodgings.Checked out after one night and drove for hours to get home... More
