We arrived at the same time as another couple, only to find a hand written note to ring a land line number on arrival for instructions into the room. First problem with this, my mobile had zero signal all the time we were there as there is very little signal at the bottom of the hill! When we did ring,... More

Fabulous old guest house, right near to the slip way to the beach. Very narrow hallways and worn stairs, and you cant be too tall to stay here :) People were shorter back in the 'days of yore'. Steeped in history - a smuggler's haunt - the atmosphere is enhanced with every creak of the floor boards :) We only... More

On arrival the owner was not on site, however, a note had been left on the Restaurant door advising us to ring his mobile number (not easy due to poor phone reception in area). Upon ringing the number we were given directions to a key safe, given the safe number and told to let ourselves in. Needless to say this... More

I stayed here with my partner in June 2015 for his birthday and had such a wonderful time, the B&B is a little dated but that's what gives it such a cosy and cute feel. It is located at the bottom of a very steep hill but literally on the beach, don't drive your car to the bottom as it... More

Stayed in the studio apartment, very clean and cosy. Lovely quirky features with everything you need. Staff really friendly and helpful. Had dinner in the restaurant downstairs and the food was amazing. Lovely cooked breakfast in the morning too. We would definately stay here again.

This B&B was right at the bottom of the hill, near the beach. It was lovely. I love Robin Hood's Bay, it's one of the nicest places in the world and Bramblewick did not disappoint, with a cosy room full of character, very olde worlde and spotlessly clean. The restaurant was very good, we ate there on the evening, delicious... More

Fab, quaint property with tons of character. We would stay again definitely if basic room supplies were replaced, shockingly old pillows and duvet and old stained towels with more cleaning needed. The actual room and decor was lovely. It was such a shame.

Some people might find this place small and claustrophobic with the low ceilings, narrow corridors, dim lighting, etc. but I thought it was brilliant! Certainly different from the norm. The wooden beams and framework on walls and ceiling give it a very old and atmospheric feel. You can imagine yourself as the skipper of an old vessel, just returned to... More

Spent one night b and b here. The accommodation is above a restaurant and is located in the old part of Robin Hoods Bay. We were rushed in to the room by staff who were busy with the restaurant so it didn't feel very welcoming. Our room was very small and poky, due no doubt to the age and character... More

Just spent a night at Bramble wick Guest House in Robin Hoods Bay along with two very good friends. Such a pity a gem of a place with so much character has been left to collect dust and muck in every nook and cranny available.. On arrival we were greeted, not by the proprietor of the guest house, but a... More
