We walked half way down the mountain, i was carrying the luggage when my partner informed me that the case i was struggling with did in fact have wheels!we arrived at the B&B and as greeted by the hostess who was busy serving lunch. However we were dealt with by her glamorous assistant who showed us to room number three.... More

Stayed here in December. Room 3 do not accept this room. The room is really dark, small and dirty. The carpets are badly stained there is a damp smell in the room. They provided us with towel, but when I picked them up of the bed one was wet with a terrible yellow stain on it. No milk provided to... More

We called in here on the Friday at the start of Victorian Christmas weekend for lunch. Unfortunately the advertised mulled wine was not ready so I had a glass of the house white, I then fancied the jacket with chilli bolognese - also not available! I went with the recommended cod and pancetta fish cakes with Cajun chips and I... More

Popped in here on day trip to Robin Hoods Bay - we had had a full English at our hotel in Scarborough so could only manage coffee and cake but we wished we could have had more! Great coffee - best carrot cake I have had, left some! It is a small quirky place but that is its charm and... More

We stayed here for one night at the end of our C2C walk. The location is great, down in the old town, just back from the sea. The room was cosy, which in this case meant very tight. Tea and coffee facilities were provided but no choice in teas which for the fairly hefty price, is quite disappointing. We had... More

We spent a weekend in R H B and decided to eat at the Bramblewick , only two of us , we were rushed to decide what we wanted to eat for starters and mains and I mean rushed. When we got our starts , very disappointing for both , one starter was mussels with a small amount in the... More

Go here and eat, I can't recommend this restaurant enough, the best eatery in Robin Hoods Bay by a mile. Perfect location, an excellent menu and personal and professional service. Just lovely, thoroughly looking forward to our next visit in a few months time. Thank you for looking after us so well.

There was no view other than a back yard with some ladders but we had come to eat and walk align the... More

I ate here with my family on a Thursday evening in August. There was a good choice of dishes but another vegetarian option would have been appreciated. I liked the fact that they will serve simple children's meals (eg chicken and chips) alongside their evening menu, making it an enjoyable family experience. My butternut squash and spinach curry was delicious... More
