B&B We booked a double room for a romantic getaway but were a little disappointed that we had a room with two single beds pushed together, despite booking a long time in advance. Milk in the tea/coffee tray was out of date. B&B is in a great location though. Food Smugglers is my favourite place to eat in Robin Hoods... More

Myself and my boyfriend (both later 20's) stayed at the Boathouse rooms in October for an Autumn treat. The rooms are perfectly located almost on the seafront! We stayed in the top room which even had a beautiful sea view. You could also look down and see the lovely cobbled streets below, which was a nice added touch and added... More

We booked into Smugglers to eat there on New Year's Eve. We booked well ahead as having visited the Bay many times, we've found that they are usually fully booked and so have reserved a table in the past for other meals there. We really enjoyed our NYE visit. The restaurant has loads of charm, it is super cosy and... More

We wanted to get away for one last weekend before the "January back feeling" to work kicked in; this place came as a recommendation which I would not delay in passing on to anyone - it can only get better in the Summer months. From the friendly booking service, to the lovely welcome, the whole day spent there was comfortable... More

If you're looking for 5* luxury, look elsewhere, but if you want right on the seashore, authentic, well appointed accommodation for a few nights, along with a fab full English breakfast each morning, you've found it. We stayed in the Studio (room 2) right above the bistro; talking to friends who also stayed, by all accounts it seems we got... More

Visited here with my son, sister and brother in law, it's a very cosy and intimate venue and would probably recommend to couples small groups or families with older children. You get a very personal service with the chef even bringing out some of the food which was a nice touch. Booking is essential as they were full and turning... More

The accommodation was the worst we stayed in during our C 2 C walk. The room was very small and poorly decorated. The ensuite was not very inviting and really is in dire need of a serious refurbishment. The doors all stripped pine and do not add anything to the amateur attempt at decoration. The beds were quite hard but... More

My dad and I stayed here after finishing our coast to coast walk. It's location right near the beach was excellent. If you want to eat dinner there, make sure to have reservations in advance. We didn't have reservations, but we were given help finding somewhere else to eat dinner. The rooms were cosy and clean. The breakfast was great... More

The Boathouse was in a great location for the end of the C2C walk. We only had to walk about 20 paces from the finish to get there. Our room was lovely and we were shown straight to our room. It was a great room overlooking the front. We had a fab breakfast with locally sourced food, but it was... More

Booked in here to overnight after Day 13 of my Coast to Coast Walk. Check-in was easy, all staff were friendly/helpful with pride of place for the entire trek going to the waitress who served me at dinner/breakfast, top-notch service and friendliness! The food at dinner in the Bistro was superb [I had a starter, seafood linguine main and dessert... More
