This was our 5th or 6th stay at Streonshalh and it is the only place we would stay! Being not only so convenient for the Bay and Whitby, it is very close to the N Yorkshire Moors which is great for walking also. The quality of service and hospitality is faultless every time and if you want to taste the... more

We stayed in a tiny room at the top of the house, just big enough to accommodate a double bed, with an en suite. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. Kevin made us very welcome and the breakfast which included a freshly prepared fruit salad, was well cooked and generous. more

Nice and friendly b&b, situated at the top of robin hoods bay. Room and en suite very clean and plenty of room. We stayed for 3 nights which was plenty as there's not much to do in the bay itself. A few pubs with ok food but the walking was fantastic and the area itself and beach are beautiful. Kevin... more

This is a clean and friendly hotel in a reasonable location at the top of the village. Our room was small with a very small window at the end of the room resulting in the room being fairly dark. The shower room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable but you could not sit up in bed due... more

We were very disappointed to receive this review and would have preferred any problems with rooms or otherwise to have been discussed with us at the time of stay. We are not a hotel and not many B&Bs provide a guest lounge, or Sky TV. North Yorkshire is one of the last counties to go digital when we will receive...

We stayed for 3 nights in the attic room. It was warm, cosy and had a lovely en suite. We only wanted a room to sleep in as we had planned 3 days out. It was lovely to know that we were coming back to a cosy and warm place at the end of each day. The room looked out... more

Stayed for 2 nights 26th Oct. Very warm friendly welcome from both Kevin and Debbie. We had a room in the attic. Space wise it was adequate but watch out for the low beams. Little extra touches were welcomed e.g bottled water. Really nice en-suite. Breakfast was very good and plenty of choice.. Car park near by, however we managed... more

We stayed in 14 B&B's and lodges, each for one night, during our Coast to Coast walk in autumn 2009. Winner was the Keld Lodge. At the bottom was Pottergate in Richmond. Is it fair to rank a place on the basis of one night? Perhaps not, but first impressions sometimes mean a lot. Streonshalh B&B ranks number 4 out... more

We stayed for two nights. Very homely and welcoming atmosphere, the owners know everything you need to know about the area, including where to get the best kippers, blackpudding and taxis! A lovely, short walk down the hill to get to the sea, shops and restaurants. The room was clean and modern and had a great view of the bay.... more
