An excellent stay at the Frenchgate. Impressed by staff, room, food, toilets(!). Slightly pricey bar but overall it was great to stay in a real quality establishment that wanted to cater for all its customer needs and more.

The staff were all very friendly and we were upgraded to the beautifully appointed Napoli Suite. Had two excellent evening meals, although the menu, was rather similar each evening. Car parking is rather limited but free parking is available in the street.
