We had a fabulous stay at the Burgoyne for three nights in July. It is a lovely hotel with the most amazing views across the Dales. We spent three nights in this remarkable small hotel, a luxury retreat in otherwise rather dull Reeth and in the heart of Swaledale, a walker’s paradise. We hope to return. We 2 (middle aged, British,married -how dull!) support all the good things said by others. A long weekend.Everything exactly as it should be, 2 inventive and delicious dinners, spotless and comfortable room, quite adequate wine list, and owner and staff all had that lovely balance of efficiency with friendliness that you always hope to find.
