Jan the owner is so friendly and helpful its like staying with family, the guest house is so clean and the beds are so comfortable and the rooms spacious and well appointed. The breakfast was exceptional and generous. North Allerton town is literally 5 minutes walk up the road and the variety of shops and eateries was surprising!...we would strongly... More

Lovely atmosphere in a beauitful Victorian home. Our bedroom was lovely, very clean and our little dog, Dougal was welcome too! Jan, was a wonderful hostess who looked after us above and beyond our expectations. Breakfasts were prepared to our specifications and always to a very high standard. If I could give more than five stars I would! Thank you,... More

We needed a place to stay at the weekend as we was cycling coast to coast. Jan who has recently taken over the B&B is lovely and is very attentive. She has recently taken over the B&B and has already made lots of improvements with many more planned and it is being fully refurbished and updated. The location is ideal... More

What can you say! 40 quid for a nights stay including breakfast! Lovely host, lovely food, good nights sleep. I can't find a fault with my stay. 10 out of 10, would recommend this to anyone. What more could you want.

The room was ok but the decor left a lot to be desired as the colours clashed and it is old and tired. The breakfast was good but the smell of frying was very evident in a morning. We were not impressed by the owner accosting us for our money as soon as we set foot in the property. Not... More

Seven of us stayed as we cycled C2C. Very clean, comfortable. Very friendly and welcoming. Peter & Moraig offered lots of advice and useful info to help us. (Murphy's law we had a major change of plans at the last minute) but they took it in their stride and just smiled. The full English was a great breakfast which helped... More

Stayed here for one night, and my room was lovely and clean and modern. Only downside was as it was a single room, the bathroom was separate but this wasn't too much of a problem. Welcoming owners, who were very helpful and let me use their iron in their lounge! Lovely breakfast as well. Would stay again if I was... More

Hi, sorry the smell of cooking breakfast was unpleasant, I change the cooking oil every Saturday morning, the only thing we fry is the bread, unfortunately the only alternative is don't serve breakfast. Regards Moraig More
