This is a country house hotel and is quaint and full of character, being so it does have it's little quicks, and long may they remain. Excellent service, very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection on the cold buffet table. Full English was great and the kippers were lovely too. The hotel has lots of character so don't go expecting the usual chrome and glass decor.

What a fantastic hotel, stayed overnight and knew I was in for a good one as I approached the hotel along its own private drive! Lovely old building and thr rooms have all mod cons. The restaurant is top class and was a fine dining experience at reasonable prices
