After a hectic autumn/winter with building works at home we were looking for a quiet and secluded hotel from where we could explore the North Yorkshire Moors and villages and relax for a few days. We make no apology for writing another review on this excellent hotel. We had a 2 night stay recently and were able to enjoy afternoon tea in the charming rose garden with, this time, an opportunity to explore the extensive, well kept, grounds. We were delighted to find that the hospitality of the Wood family was as welcoming as ever.... more
I can only reiterate the previous review. Fabulous situation right on the edge of the moors in a very special village. Bedrooms light and comfortable 'zip and link' beds.
