Our party of nine have met up every May for a very long number off years to tackle long distance foot path routss around England. Wrangham House on their website for... More

A few weeks ago, my family went to Wrangham House Hotel with friends for Easter lunch that also included an Easter egg hunt (my family has four children - 8, 5, 3 and three months!). The food was great (the chef was able to do child friendly meals) and the staff were very friendly. The day ended on a high... More

We came across this hotel whilst looking for dog-friendly accommodation near Bempton Cliffs. We stayed for one night on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis and were highly delighted with our excellent dinner and breakfast. Our room was a downstairs one in the Coach House and we were well satisfied with it. We would definitely stay in this country house... More

This is a great family run country house hotel in a Georgian Rectory. We were looking for a one night stay near the east coast of Yorkshire. As luck would have it we were the only guests in a beautiful house. The lounge was all leather chairs and a real fire. We didn't want to move after our cliff walk... More

Our wedding weekend could not have been any more perfect, thanks to the professionalism and hard work of Peter, Stacey and all the Wrangham House team. From our intial discussions with Stacey we felt we were in good hands and she orchestrated the perfect day, providing a winter nostaligic fairytale setting and a wide range of exquisite food. The service... More

This hotel was booked for me , so I had no idea what to expect. Its an old country house style of hotel. The room I was allocated was changed as the key had been misplaced, so I was given the room at the very top of the house, only after I had been told that the stairs were steep... More

We were welcomed to this excellent small hotel with real warmth. Our group of 16 is made up of older people some with dietary and physical needs, and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. The food was of a high standard and well presented and the waiting staff were attentive and courteous. The breakfast menu is mouth-watering, one... More

It had been over 25 years since I had visited this hotel as a child and I was pleased that it had retained the authenticity and charm of a real country hotel. Family run, the owners are doing a fabulous job and I was particularly impressed by the young staff serving at breakfast. I presume they are local which is... More
