We have just had another excellent stay at Rookhurst Hotel. As always the food and accommodation were superb. After a long days hike through these wonderful dales, it is a treat to come back to such good food and a very comfy and luxurious 4 poster bed! Lovely old house full of character and a beautiful garden which we made full use of to relax in. Large very clean room. We stayed for 2 nights this April and found it a lovely place to stay . The owners were very welcoming (family run) and the rooms were lovely (4 poster beds, etc. ,quality bedlinen and lovely thick down duvets). It is a perfect base to expore the dales from.
