I had booked Fairview based on the recent trip advisor reviews. It was a Mon to Fri booking for my parents and they were not disappointed. The house has 4 rooms which are a good price in such a competitve area. I booked Room 4 for the countryside view, and it did not disappoint. On arrival the house and the grounds provide... More

We decided to have a weekend visit back to Hawes but I a different b&b. What a good choice. Comfortable and relaxed with brilliant hosts offering helpful advice about dinner and walks. The breakfast was unbelievably tasty and plentiful.

Clean, Comfortable, Cosy and Caring and in a good location with parking. The breakfast was delicious and there was a good choice. Everything you need from a B&B. I don't believe you would be disappointed, so try it and see.

The Website introduction says ‘Barbara and Gordon welcome you to their elegant Victorian House …with antiques … original period features, … comfortable Bed & Breakfast accommodation [and] a friendly welcome in Wensleydale. The house … updated to include all the modern comforts the discerning traveller expects to find in a high quality Guest House.’ Its dead right. Splendid, from the... More

November might be a month when mini breaks in the UK are limited due to inclement weather but the wecome and warmth my wife and I received from Barbara and Gordon could not have have been better. On a wet day to enter such a lovely home and experience their hospitality throughout our stay was excellent. Nothing was too much... More

We stayed 4 nights here at the end of October and we would definitely come back. With a 6 month old baby Gordon and Barbara couldn't do enough for us and our stay was made very easy. We stayed in the family room (room 3) where there was plenty of room for all of our stuff, including a travel cot!... More

An excellent guest house. Lovely hosts, beautiful rooms presented with lots of thought and effort, ideal location, delicious breakfast and we have to mention adorable, cuddly Copper the dog who we wanted to smuggle home with us. Exceptional quality and value for money.

Very nice, clean, and excellent accommodation , very helpful host, off road car park, and just on edge of Hawes, walking distance to town for eating. Breakfast plenty of choice and well presented, Will have no hesitation in using again when returning to the area.

We just stayed the one night and it was a lovely experience. The room was large with a complimentary tray, with tea, coffee and cakes. The breakfast was to die for, and Barbara and Gordon are the perfect hosts, not forgetting their Spaniel Copper. We intend to return for a longer time next year.
