Very high quality accommodation with outstanding food and ambience. Stunning, remote location, yet only 3.5 miles out of Hawes in area of red squirrels. It is amazing that such a varied dinner menu can be created and served to such a high standard by just two or three people working there - the owners and sometimes one helper. Pamela is... More

We visited for a meal while staying in nearby Hawes for my wife's birthday, Paul the owner was really chatty & friendly & the food certainly matched his great service. Post script: We managed to get epically lost on a walk the next day when a 12.5 mile walk turned into closer to 18+ miles. Stumbling upon The Old Dairy... More

We had a splendid two night stay at the old dairy farm over the Easter weekend and from the wonderful welcome on arrival to our departure nothing was too much trouble, the hospitality boundless. Our room was very comfortable and clean, the food was excellent and always plentiful. If you are looking for a tranquil base from which to explore... More

There are only 3 rooms and we booked room 3 which is the best but there is a supplement charge. The whole place was very nice and relaxed. the food was was also excellent,... More

Booked a stay here for two nights, from start to end we could not have wished it better. upon arrival, Paul greeted us and made us feel very welcome, with coffee and cake to settle us in! The whole place is stunning and very homely, and Paul's hospitality is second to none. We ordered our evening meal from the menu... More

Well what can I say but simply it was perfect in every way. So we arrived to a fantastic warm welcome tea and cake. We stayed in room 3. The bath is amazing with lovely views over the dales. Must not forget the balcony which even on a cold crisp March evening was worth siting out on. My wife said... More

Just returned from a perfect weekend break. High standard accommodation, everything was good quality, very clean, peaceful but good location to explore the Yorkshire dales. We chose to eat in both nights and the food was top class. Being about three miles from nearest town Hawes, it suited us to be out all day and eat in on the evening. Recommend... More

What a little gem of a place! Everything is wonderful from the warm welcome at the door to the stunning food and cosy bedrooms. We were fortunate to have three nights in this lovely dairy farm conversion and definitely want to return. We went for room three with the jacuzzi bath, an extra treat but worth it! Thank you both...
