Have just got back from a family weekend at the Bay, stayed in the Greenwich Cottage, which was lovely, apart from being dirty! We complained and they send a cleaner over who spent 5 minutes cleaning the bathroom and that was it. The windows in the downstairs bedroom where locked, we was told someone would bring the key across -... More

This was our 3rd time staying in a solo apartment. We had a slight problem with the cleaning this time but it was quickly rectified by the House keeping staff after we reported it to reception. I agree with previous reviewer about beach access, the path they use to have has disappeared under building work and we had a trek... More

getked a three night break for a really good price. It was a no brainer in that respect. We arrived early and parked up onsite first impressions were Whisteria Lane meets Brookside. Gorgeous holiday village with a mix of houses and apartments. However it is still very much work in progress, which is surprising considering its been open a couple... More

Lets start with price - around half the price of a Centreparcs villa so good but... although advertised as a Go Active resort there was basically nothing beyond the pool on offer (and it's too small, too busy for the numbers (and they are building more houses!)) It hadn't been very well cleaned, and for a new house there were... More

This has been my second visit to the Bay. On site you have a pub, swimming pool, beauty spa, cafe, pharmacy and lots of activities for kids. The beach is a 2 minute stroll away and what a beach! You can walk for miles and miles. I stayed at Pebble Cottage which I booked through yorkshirecottages.com. Which was a 1... More

We have just returned and had a lovely stay here - the village is lovely and set out well but there needs more attention to detail - on the important things like cleanliness. The accommodation itself was lovely - we had a tahiti beach house - but sadly the housekeeping lets it down badly. Dirty throws on sofas, dirty dinner... More

Stayed at the Bay in a Solo Apartment for a weekend break. The apartment was clean ,warm and spacious enough for my husband, myself and a very well behaved dog.The apartment appeared well maintained throughout, tastefully decorated with a comfortable bedroom and bathroom.I would suggest that a welcome pack be available in the apartment giving details of what's on in the area.Please... On arrival we found a verry verry flat mattress and no mattress protector , so we complained and when we went out for the day came back to find a mattress and a foam topper slung on our bed. So we had to make it ourselfs. Apart from that ( uptil now ) we are satisfied with the accomadation. Oh... More

We stayed in a very nice, if rather small, holiday flat here. It was very modern and well equipped, and we had no bother with noise from the neighbours in the block. The resort is a bit like a cross between Brookside close and the prisoner, although less so the latter. The resort is good for children in that it... More
