The Bay at Filey was lovely! I stayed in the Salty Dog - a Nikki Beach House, with a friend and my dog. It exceeded all my expectations, it was so well equipped and we were toasty warm with the log burner. I genuinely couldn't get over how dog friendly everyone was, from the lovely staff on site to a... More

Just had a lovely weekend with a friend & dog in a Nikki beach house "Salty Dog".welcomed by friendly smiley staff, with lots of information at hand. We arrived, to find a very well equipped accommodation, lots of personal touches, games, dvd's, very clean, FAB log burner, got logs from Tesco in Filey. The Bay & Filey are very dog... More

Spent Mon to Fri last week in a solo apartmen, second visit this year. We may have been very lucky as we have never found any problem with cleanliness of the accomodation here and although there are building works going on they have never been noisy or a problem. Furniture in the apartments does vary as this is down to... More

Me and my partner stayed at the bay this weekend lovely place 20 min drive to scarborough and a 5 min drive to the local shop and village... would recommend but if you go take the base things you need such as washing up liquid, toilet roll, extra towels... things you need every day... also there is a brilliant Italian restaurant... Staying at The Bay Filey was a mixed bag; it's in a great location close to Scarborough & even has it's own access to Filey beach! It has a swimming pool on site & activities which suit slightly older children. However, the site is made up of 300 new-build type houses crammed together, many one next to each other, which... More

Stayed in a nice detached house (privately booked) at October half term. The house was nice apart from a few minor issues. They were building a house next to us - it didn't really bother us but there was a bit of mud around and we had to watch out when the builders left a manhole cover off! The site... More

We stayed for a long weekend in the Greenwich cottage (more of a new build house) with another family. First impressions were good until you look closely. Could be cleaner and furniture is cheap....cracks starting to appear already! We found the food in the pub rather poor but the Italian did nice pizzas. Swimming pool is small for the size... More

Had some high hopes for this place as a result of other reviews and advertising. For a resort aspiring to be "The UK's Premier Coastal Holiday Village" it sorely needs a little more than houses that look like they've been lifted from a Barratt Homes development. Half of the site is still a building site, much of which looks pretty... More

We went on this holiday for 2 reasons. .....fishing and rest....we got neither. The definition of a fishing pond maybe a whole in the ground filled with water, but to advertise it as an attraction is disgusting. ...no platforms, features, nothing! We had to go local to find a decent fishing place. As for getting some rest, we were woken... More
