Sunday 12 Feb and three days into our holiday in Filey.
The guest book in our cottage told of the fabulous pub across the road, The Station, and what awesome fayre they served. The poster in the pub window proclaimed the same, and claimed to serve full sunday roasts from 12-3pm.

good breakfast room was needing a little help maybe a lick of paint would not go a miss bathroom needs a touch up and shower was not that clean but having said that we would stay there again

These rooms are converted outbuildings separate from the Pub, and benefit from fridge, microwave, cutlery etc. which could make for a very economical holiday for families on a budget or lads on tour. However, the conversions appear to have been done as a DIY project back in the 1970s, with only electrical appliances having been upgraded since.

Although it may look a bit 70s our rooms have all been refurbished within the last 18 months and I'm sure you'll hear plumbing noises in any accommodation where there is a upper floor. The service here was excellent.
Nothing was too much trouble for the very sunny natured Bar Maid. There are several Dining areas in this Pub, I believe we were in the quiet Lounge part.
It was made very cosy and comfortable, Sofas and lots of cushions, and soft lighting, etc.
