This the second time we have stayed here this time in a delux room. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is up to the normal hand picked hotels standard. The cooked breakfast set us up for the day. The building and grounds are well maintained our bathroom had recently been refurbished. The room was large with an... More

Just had afternoon tea. Lovely staff, very friendly and polite. The afternoon tea was beautiful. Thick clotted cream for the scones was great. I've had that dreadful artificial squirty cream, that disappears on the jam, many times in cafes/restaurants. The cakes were scrumptious and the sandwiches very fresh and tasty. Full marks all round. Will return.

Entertained 2 customers who stayed in the hotel for dinner. The whole evening was a great success and this was down to the excellent food and service. The menu was well presented with options, but not too much. The wine list was set-out to help the average person rather than a wine specialist. The food was tasty and well presented,... More

This is how customer service should be! From arriving at the car park until leaving the hotel, the service received from every single staff member that we encountered was a delight and should be a copy-book for others to follow. Staff were aware that we were visiting for a special occasion and could not have done more to make our... More

Recently spent three nights at Crathorne Hall on a 'bed and breakfast' basis. From the very first interaction with the receptionist upon our arrival and throughout the short break, our overwhelming perception of the 'staff' awareness to customer service, was outstanding! Breakfast was of a superb quality in what was a relaxed and superb environment. We also thoroughly enjoyed the... More

We stayed at Crathorne Hall for a weekend away with friends, taking advantage of the champagne special offer. We discovered a delightful Edwardian country house hotel in an estate setting with extensive grounds to explore. It was a shame, however, to see once grand glasshouses fenced off and being allowed to fall into disrepair. These could be both a feature... More

Visited Crathorne Hall Hotel earlier today Tuesday 11th March, arrived at 2.15pm and had afternoon tea booked for 2.30pm, was ushered into the Lounge by a rather abrupt and discurtious female member of staff, who took our order at 2.20pm, i asked for the wine list which appeared 10 mintes later, i feared the worst!!! However another member of staff... More

We stayed here for my 50th birthday. It was a wonderful weekend. We have stayed before but this time we stayed in the Crathorne Suite which is amazing. The room is huge with dining table, 2 four seater settees, an enormous bed, walk in dressing room and large bathroom. The bath is vast and steps are provided to get in... More
