My husband & I stayed here along with a couple of friends. The location & friendliness of the owners Steve & Sandra was brilliant & extremely welcoming. We checked in on a wintery afternoon & were greeted with hot tea & scones in the tearooms. The rooms were very comfortable & spacious enough for our needs. Toiletries, towels & lovely... More

Very pleasant light lunch, friendly owner and first class cheese scones, fruit cake and cheese. Latte could be a bit stronger. Well worth a return visit when we are hungrier. Clearly popular with locals, and I can understand why.

We have known Steve and Sandra since they opened their tea room and have become regular visitors every time we visit the Dales. Steve and Sandra are always so welcoming and friendly and the food and cakes are first class. We always come away wanting more a real home from home, great ambience and our son loves their garden! Upon arrival we entered the tea rooms and were made to feel very welcome by Steve the owner ,who offered us complimentary coffee and cake in the tea rooms, which we thought was a lovely touch. The owners even went out of their way to make us a sandwich when the tea room was closed. The rooms were very comfortable ,and... More

We only went to the tea room and did not stay here. We were very impressed by the owner's help and service, the quality of the food, the setting in the village with a nice garden, and the general standards throughout. Maybe more expensive than usual for the same thing, but well worth the extra. Great for bikers, walkers and... More

What a refreshing experience to be welcomed when calling in for a cuppa! The owners are keen to welcome all their guests - whatever they order. The café is so well presented and fits in perfectly with the surrounding village and all it stands for. As for the refreshments and menu - they have it spot on! Have recently returned... More

Never before have I left an excellent review on TripAdvisor, this is the first. Lovely clean and well maintained B & B and the bonus is the Tea Room that's attached serving home made food with a smile. A friendly genuine welcome, a clean room nicely decorated and well cared for. Fantastic plentiful good quality food and pleasant people who... More

Not very often I give a excellent rating, but I have nothing but praise for this B&B. My son and myself stayed for 1 night whilst walking the James Herriot Way and found this B&B excellent in all areas, from a very warm greeting from Steve to a comfortable spotlessly clean room to a breakfast that would leave no one... We stopped by the tea rooms today on our way home from Hawes for a late lunch. This is a beautifully decorated and well run tea room, with delicious, good value food and pleasant, welcoming staff. Service was prompt and atmosphere relaxed. Will definitely be back (n.b. we didn't see the rooms, just the pictures on the leaflet which was... More

We called in by chance on a wet drive through Aysgarth. Lovely homely tearoom also sells cards, jams, wine etc. We had a toasted sandwich with great mixed side salad. Freshly made and good value with friendly service. The other diners looked to have delicious lunches too. The tearoom is very clean and tastefully decorated and the toilets are very... More
