We stayed in the Byards Leap apartment in Sleaford and although it was a bit of a surprise to discover it was on a housing estate we soon overcame our reservations, the location was fantastic, 15 minutes walk to town, which has a pretty good variety of pubs and restaurants. We sat in 2 nights and had very good food... More

We needed a place to stay nearby as the Mess was full. Conveniently located they offer 5 rooms with their cafe next door providing an excellent breakfast. The room was spacious and comfortable with all the usual thing you need when travelling. The cafe is well known for graduates coming in for breakfast the next morning and offer a good... More

The Country Kitchen is linked to Byard's Leap Lodge, but passing trade are welcome too. We were camping at the Beeches site, and visited to have breakfast. Husband had the full English, which was excellent, and I had poached eggs on toast. Huge cups of tea, it set us up nicely for the day.

O.K. there's no 'Wow factor' on arrival outside this modest hotel, but every care has been taken to provide modern, clean rooms with true hospitality. It's some way from the nearest town, so to arrive late (as we did) and have a well-stocked, sensibly priced, mini-bar, was ideal. A delicious breakfast was served in the spacious restaurant next door. Simple,... More

What a lovely warm and friendly welcome you receive when you arrive. We booked a room for one night at short notice due to the convenient location for us and were delighted with what we found. Spotlessly clean room with everything you needed, ample parking, free of charge. We needed to make an early start the next day which would... More

This is a family who takes care of everyone. Our son and family just moved to the area and stayed there. I can see why. They made us all feel at home. They recognized everyone. They serve the best breakfast. We understand all their meals are great. The lodge is like living at home. This is a place to enjoy... More

I stayed here for a business trip and I was pleasantly surprised byt how nice it was. The staff were extremely friendlty and the rooms were so comfortable. All the little extras like the mini bar, mint humbugs and biscuits were nice little touches. It was very clean and I would stay agaion. THE BREAKFAST WAS also delicious. Thank you

Excellent service even though booked at very short notice. Parking was easy with good access. Booking in was simple and quick and room was very comfortable, with all mod cons including mini bar. Location was great, even though next to a busy road, couldn't hear the traffic. Breakfast was awesome! No problem with the dog, spoilt as ever!

Well appointed and comfortably furnished rooms at a sensible price. Rooms are spotlessly clean. Friendly and helpful owners are justifiably proud of their business which includes the eatery next door. Food is delicious and very good value. Very fast free Wi Fi. Ideally situated for visiting the nearby airbase. Highly recommended!
