We arrived and booked in. The chap behind the reception desk, seeing that I was disabled asked if I would prefer a downstairs room and an accessibility room. The room was clean and large and the walk in shower was brilliant. Recommend the Fayre & Square pub, which is walking distance, for food. Reasonable value and very tasty. Also the... More

Booked Scunthorpe Travelodge as an overnight stay to see Dirty Dancing the stage show of the popular film at the Bath Halls Theatre Scunthorpe because it was only a mile away. Arrived at 3pm saturday just as the football fans were going into the ground. I thought it would be very difficult to park but the receptionist's initiative & superb... More

We have stayed here several times over a number of years to visit family. On previous stays we did find some issues, usually concerning beds. As this Travelodge has been refurbished since our last booking here, we were pleasantly surprised how much better everything is here now ,compared to previous stays. There were only a couple of minor issues with... More

This was a stopover on the last night of 10 nights away from home and this hotel was chosen on the basis that it is the nearest to Gainsborough where we had business earlier in the day. It is located next to Scunthorpe United's football ground and is effectively in the middle of a big retail/food outlet park. If big... More

Stayed here for one night to attend a wedding. Arrived early and our party were able to check in for a fee of £10 per room. Normal check in is 3pm. We got in at 1pm. The room was spacious with a double bed, TV, tea and coffee facilities and space to hang a few clothes. Bathroom had bath with... More

I was in Scunthorpe for a family Funeral, but my Mother`s Bungalow isn`t big enough for me & my husband to stay with her over night, hence an Hotel stay. The Hotel is known to us so we knew what to expect. It didn`t disappoint. Despite being close to the Motorway & local amenities, outside noise was minimal. It`s also... More

We are staying in Travelodges all over the UK on our trip from Australia. We stayed at Scunthorpe because it is near the Isle of Axholme villages of my ancestors - everyone said "Why Scunthorpe!!!???" But we found the countryside around here very appealing, and Scunthorpe is also very convenient for the Humber Bridge, Hull, Bridlington etc. The Travelodge is... More

Why do people moan about a very adequate hotel - if they want the Ritz they should pay Ritz prices. We stayed here for 2 nights last week. Very clean, comfy big bed, decent shower and lovely, friendly helpful staff

Function and convenient budget end hotel for our overnight stay, with helpful staff, Tesco extra directly opposite ideal for breakfast etc. Plenty of free car parking. Easy to find as next to football stadium
