I had been looking for somewhere to stay to split my journey between West Yorkshire and Norwich so found this hotel on the internet. I have to say that I had a great stay. The hotel is set in a lovely little village in Lincolnshire not too far from Stamford and the A1. There is ample free car parking. The... More

We had a family meal here, and I can honestly say that the food was the best I have ever been served in a UK restaurant. All the meals came out together, piping hot, and each was described as very good. Fantastic for a village pub. Recommended.

Just returned home after enjoying, yet again, an excellent Sunday Carvery at The Wishing Well, Dyke. The meat was very tender with a good choice of pork, beef, turkey or Gammon. This was served with an excellent choice of vegetables and accompaniments. Lovely to have some mashed potatoes on the menu - so many only offer roast potatoes nowadays. Following... More

Under new management this pub has undergone a facelift of both décor &menu. Although prices seem to be creeping up the food is good value for money, well cooked &well presented plus a good selection of real ales. Well worth another visit.

Having decided to visit the Wishing Well again after some 5 years of avoiding the place due to it being badly run in the past I thought that since there are new owners who have taken it on then we would chance it again... WRONG DECISION... I arrived there with some friends of mine to be greeted by a bar... More

Relaxing weekend in family friendly accommodation . Excellent attentive staff, nothing too much trouble. Comfortable, clean, well decorated, warm en suite bedrooms. Pub offers good selection of reasonably priced bar and restaurant meals plus very popular Sunday Carvery with well cooked and presented food.

The Owners of The Wishing Well very kindly let me use their venue to host a charity evening for a building project that I am organising in Ghana. Due to the incredible hard work and organisation of Andy the manager and the delicious food and great service from all the welcoming staff the evening was a huge success! I couldn't... More

First impressions were positive and we were not disappointed through the whole experience. The Wishing Well provided Ample parking, beautiful surroundings and a friendly welcome. My daughter and I attended a charity event which included a sumptuous 3 course meal. Serving a multitude of guests one would expect staff to be rushing around and flapping but, the efficiency of management... More

Tried Sunday lunch here and was very pleased. Had a starter and the carvery but a few other a- la carte main dishes available. The dining area was very welcoming and was quite busy which helped the atmosphere. Staff pleasant and efficient. Well worth a visit.
