Three of us stayed overnight here as our original accommodation booking in Sleaford was messed up. The bedrooms are looking very tired but we were informed that there is a major refurbishment taking part. Having said that the rooms were clean, the bed comfortable and had a flat screen tv, tea and coffee making facilities, there were toiletries in the... More

Thank you for your kind review, thankfully for us you got the opportunity to stay with us. We have only recently purchased the pub, and are busy upgrading (first 2 bedrooms are ready this weekend). We look forward to welcoming you back when you are next in the area. More

This was my first experience of The Wishing Well and was very pleased. I was with my boyfriend and his nan. I had a burger which when it arrived was a huge burger patty and I couldn't finish the chips which were also very good! Very surprising but they serve a roast during the week as well which was one... Eaten here several times down the years, and was recently invited to a family function. Recently rescued by a consortium of local worthys, the place has been spruced up and is very welcoming. The catering at the function was first-rate, and the staff cheerful and helpful whilst being discrete and polite. One of the special features of the inn is... More

Didn't stay at the Inn but just popped in one Sunday lunch time, nice atmosphere & decor, friendly helpful staff, my girlfriend & I had the carvery, good choice of vegetables & meats, we both had the beef & it was best I've had in a very long time, price was reasonable also. Well done (see the pun?) & will... More

Did not stay here, as we were trying to find the smock windmill which proved to be gated off, but in the car park of The Wishing Well, we found we had quite a good view of it! The truncated mill (only the main body survives so there are no sail to see) can be seen on the left hand... More

Ate here as part of a group of 15 family. We all decided to have the carvery lunch as it was a Sunday. £8.95 for a main meal was reasonable value. There were 3 different meat choices and lots of Veg to suit everyone. Only 1 problem with the food was that they had not topped up Veg or meat... More

Rickety room. No curtain on door so light flooding in at 5am. Badly creaking floors from room above and they seemed to be walking around all night! Good value though and nice staff. Food ok, avoid the chicken wings. £5 for 2 frozen wings halved... Served with a limo wilted salad... Main course was excellent though and very very generous!... More

Very friendly hotel with lots of parking, I was on a course nearby and this was great value at £38 including breakfast for a single room. The room was clean and although it was small, had a comfortable double bed, tables but no wardrobe, bathroom was very clean but the towel rail was broken, Tv was on windowsill would have... More

Visited for an evening meal one Saturday. It is a lovely old pub, but a bit draughty near the windows. The food was good value, well presented and freshly cooked. However, it did not feel particularly welcoming on first arrival.

I stayed in the B and B, A lovely old building, the rooms were small, but clean and comfortable enough. The shower enclosure is compact, and a large person may find it a bit of a squeeze. The tv is on the windowsill due to lack of space, which means pulling the curtains and watching tv is quite difficult. However,... More
