We had a nice stay at the Wishing Well, the room and bathroom was a bit small but clean, tidy and comfortable. The staff and manager were pleasant and friendly although the manager at times, in the evening, seemed very rushed and a bit stressed, (apparently some staff had not turned up) he still seemed under pressure in the morning... Nice quiet location but bedroom was very tired and worn with a seventies bright blue toilet suite. I understand that an improvement programme is in place which is very much needed. Restaurant was quite busy and menu looked OK but food was disappointing. Soup and main course were microwaved and therefore some of it was extremely hot and the rest... More

I called into this pub on a whim one sunday afternoon with the kids, i found the pub to be very pleasant and welcoming. The pub is situated on beautiful grounds, i was able to relax in the outdoor area whilst the kids enjoyed themselves in the play area, (which i could see from the outdoor sitting area). We each... I found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming which made me feel right at home. i would definitely re-visit and think this pub is up... More

Not a happy experience, breakfast was Ok but unbale to sleep with people baning to come in at 3 am. what appeared to be a pneumatic drill next door going off intermittantly, smanil trails in diging room, dead flies. A good hoover and dust would have helped. Will not return

I booked in for a one night stay. I looked around, and saw the toilet bowl had paper in it, and the bowl and the underneath of the seat were 'unclean', which i rectified by flushing and the toilet brush. The sink had a white, toothpaste like residue in it. The press pad security lock also stayed in the 'open'... More

Three of us stayed overnight here as our original accommodation booking in Sleaford was messed up. The bedrooms are looking very tired but we were informed that there is a major refurbishment taking part. Having said that the rooms were clean, the bed comfortable and had a flat screen tv, tea and coffee making facilities, there were toiletries in the... More

This was my first experience of The Wishing Well and was very pleased. I was with my boyfriend and his nan. I had a burger which when it arrived was a huge burger patty and I couldn't finish the chips which were also very good! Very surprising but they serve a roast during the week as well which was one... Eaten here several times down the years, and was recently invited to a family function. Recently rescued by a consortium of local worthys, the place has been spruced up and is very welcoming. The catering at the function was first-rate, and the staff cheerful and helpful whilst being discrete and polite. One of the special features of the inn is... More
