This was a surprise treat for my birthday. We had a lovely time. The sandwiches and cakes were delicious. The service was good. One small criticism is that getting water with ice is a trial. It would be much better to have a large jug of iced water on the table instead of having to request each glass and then... More

I met up with family for lunch in the orangery and we all enjoyed our visit, the service was very good and the staff were attentive. The building has been renovated to a high standard, and the food was excellent

Visited as my best friend has booked it for her wedding next year and we stayed to have lunch. The hotel is gorgeous with fantastic grounds. The food we had for lunch was beautifully prepared and presented. Three courses for £25.99, very reasonable. The orangery is a lovely place to be too. The staff are all very professional and polite... More

All I can say is "wow"! What a lovely experience. Treated my mum to an overnight stay that included an evening meal. The meal and breakfast was fantastic! The service was excellent. The staff were very polite, helpful and friendly, and the hotel/house was beautiful and spotlessly clean. We would defiantly go again! Fife stars all round!!

Great service, lovely setting and delicious food. Only slight criticism is the walls between my bedroom and the next door one was thin which meant I could hear conversations quite easily and every time they switched one of the many light switches on and off. However it didn't detract from me having a lovely weekend. We had a private evening... More

I stayed here with a couple of friends last weekend (2nd weekend in March 2015) - it was a special trip for our birthdays and we had a wonderful time. Afternoon tea was lovely (can recommend the savoury option) as was dinner on the Saturday evening and lunch the next day - all in the Orangery. The staff were all... More

We visited Kilworth House for our anniversary. From the moment we booked and dubsewalked through the door the service was nothing but exemplary. We stayed in the Oscar Wilde room which was beautiful with amazing views and a stunning bathroom with clarins products. The port in the room was also a nice touch! We had a problem with the lock... What can you say about a hotel who cannot remember whether you ordered white or brown bread for your sandwiches, cannot recall which ones wanted mayonaisse and which didn't (only six people) and who CHARGE £2 FOR A GLASS OF TAP WATER! Why would anyone go back?

Go to Leicestershire for a weekend stay, you must be joking. However, I couldn't have been more wrong. My wife found this on the net and booked us an overnight stay, the package included dinner. On arrival we were impressed by the driveway to the hotel, the grounds are impressive and well kept, lovely to walk round. The hotel is... More

We went to the hotel on Saturday for lunch and a session in the beauty room. What a treat. The hotel is very grand and stays true to its traditional original décor. The staff are pleasant and professional. We had cocktails before lunching in the Orangery: we had two courses each, the food was cooked well and very tasty. We... More
