To say that I am upset by the treatment of one of your staff and the service I received is an understatement. I am considering my options. I reported that I had cut myself on a loose and dangerous soap holder in the room (Oliver) recorded this with professionalism. I stated as I was co-coordinating a wedding, I did not... More

Several serving staff bit standoffish and not attentive enough in topping up drinks or being clear or helpful with menu-creates bad atmosphere/ climate. Afternoon tea is set and there was an element of trying to be flexible, appreciate chef's efforts to accommodate but still the range is specific to what is on offer and the options were not clearly outlined.... Received a voucher for afternoon tea with a glass of sparkling wine as a Wedding gift and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We sat in the Orangery which was beautiful and the maître d' recommended we order one savoury platter and one sweet, so we did. The sparkling wine was very nice, all of the food was... More

We were lucky to be invited for our good friend's 50th birthday celebration reception and dinner. She had organised canapés and champagne beforehand which were served in a separate room by a very efficient, attentive and friendly waitress called Bethan who continued to serve us throughout the evening. The dinner was served in another private room and as we had... More

We visited Kilworth House Hotel on Sunday 17th May for sunday lunch in the Orangery. I had high expectations of what to expect and I'm glad to say that the Orangery, the Staff, and the Chefs surpassed them all! From the moment you arrive you know that this is going to be an experience rather than just a sunday lunch.... More

Following a great deal of research I booked this hotel for a holiday of one night in June for myself and a girlfriend. PRIOR to booking the hotel I had already booked for the open air theatre which looked fantastic. We then decided to stay a night as the hotel looked fabulous. My telephone booking was dealt with well and... More

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to read that you are disappointed with the check in time for your forthcoming visit. Our usual check in time is 3pm however for Theatre packages it is 4pm as advertised in all Theatre literature and on our websites. The member of staff taking your booking at the time would have offered... More

I have stayed here many times before as I absolutely love the Marlowe suit, however sadly this will be the last time. The food here is absolutely terrible and this is not a one of I can't remember the last time I had a good meal here and the service is just as bad waiters totally uninterested ordered drinks and... We have reason to believe that this reviewer stayed with us last week and upon departure left spray tan all over the dressing room carpet which prevented the room being let for a further two nights. Extensive cleaning was required to return the room to its usual high standard. The guest was charged for the damage and informed that further... More

It was either here or The Belfry. Very happy with the choice! I get the impression that their core business is weddings and upmarket weekend breaks here. The decor is traditional: lots of wood panelling and portraits, the Orangery is spectacular. I was lucky enough to stay in one of the bedroom suites, which was fantastic - huge room with... More

We had studied during the afternoon after walking around the lovely grounds the menus and wanted an extra which we viewed on the Orangery menu but when we was seated we was never offer the Orangery Menu and all they came up with with was the Sunday menu which was appalling I cook better at home, and seeing this as... Nice location. Shame about the service!! A very disinterested waitress that we had to chase for a glass of wine. No one asked how our meal was. When we left, no goodbye or smile. My meal was nice but husband's steak was overlooked. On booking I said it was for our wedding anniversary but they obviously didn't care. Won't be... More
