wanted to stay in southport but a lot of resort places now wont take one night booking, I hope these chains dont stop doing so. I like how premier inn operate, very simple, you dont need any frills, just get there, get in the room. The room was very clean, very spacious, very quite great bathroom, cant fault it. The... More

Great wee hotel, clean rooms and lovely, friendly staff. Will definitely return, stayed six days to visit family, as a base it was good. Didn't try the restaurant, but had no qualms over the cleanliness and the value for money for the room. Standish is a pretty town and so is the surrounding villages. Accessible for Blackpool, Southport and the... More

We stayed 7th August after arriving back at Manchester Airport and before a 6 hour drive back to Scotland the next day, we had booked a family room but the room we had looked like a double room with a single bed squeezed in to make it like a family room. Our king size bed was very comfortable but our... More

Stopped here for an overnight stay to break the long drive up to Scotland. Less than 5 minutes off the M6. Close enough to be handy, far enough away to avoid lots of traffic noise. Usual functional Premier standard. Room 25 looked over a lovely field with horses in it. I could almost have been in the country - slept... More

We stayed here for one night before Ironman UK in nearby Bolton. The location was good, and the hotel is easy to find. There's a good pub next door with a reasonable food selection, and some good meal offers. Booking quite late the room cost over £80 which I thought was too high (the next night we had another Premier... More

Hotel was clean and comfortable and staff helpful and informative and friendly. Room was a good size. Bed was comfortable. Lovely view from the window across open land. Bathroom clean but not too big.

My partner and I recently cycled the route of the Leeds/Liverpool Canal. We arrived here quite late on a rainy evening - very muddy and wet and with our extremely filthy bicycles! However, this didn't impact on our welcome at all. The receptionist was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. She willingly stored our bicycles in the office overnight and did everything to... More

We like Premier Inns.. Its the staff that make them we have found.. The receptionists here, as with other Premiers are well chosen. Always friendly, helpful and ... well how receptionists should be everywhere.. Well done .. Our room , on the second floor was spacious, clean and had a lovely view across open countryside..Only five mins from the motorway,... More

Hotel, you know what you're going to get and you get it! Breakfast....forget it!!!! The restaurant attached to the hotel is dire. Not even a hot cup of coffee at breakfast and we only observed 1.5 staff trying to serve, no wonder they can't keep up.....
