Very reasonable Premier Inn, tucked behind very average restaurant - very much WYSIWYG - BUT where have all the power sockets gone - there were TWO in the room - one for the kettle and one for the TV - and several blanks where sockets clearly used to be.... WHY? to charge 2 mobiles or other devices we had to... More

Very friendly and professional receptionist who gave us a lovely warm welcome, despite being minutes away from finishing her shift as we checked in. During our stay the fire alarm was activated. Dave who was the Night Receptionist evacuated the hotel in a cool calm manner, which was very reassuring. The young waitress in the restaurant was very considerate of... More

We stayed here on new years eve with family and could not fault the hotel itself, the rooms were clean and well maintained and the gentleman on reception was very helpful. Unfortunately in the early hours the fire alarm did go off due to another guest but the employee on the front desk handled the situation extremely well.

New years eve accommodation at the last minute and it was spot on. Very clean modern rooms and even with an unexpected fire alarm in the middle of the night we had a lovely stay. The evacuation was handled very well by the night manager and hats off to his professionalism. Definitely recommend a stop here.

Stayed here a total of 3 nights, and the Premier inn itself was great with no issues to report, and the usual premier inn standard. Decided to have an evening meal at the pub (Square Deal) attached to the premier inn, and was really disappointed. pictures of the food looked dodgy on the menu, and tasted as bad - poor... More

We stayed here with members of the extended family, up for a funeral. Although the site says J 27 of the M6, it is actually a little way away, across a field, so no motorway traffic noise. We found the reception staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although the bed in the disabled room was... More
