Check-in was simple and hassle-free. The attractive young lady was warm and friendly, so that's always a good start to any stay. The room over-looked Darwen FC ground and industrial sites, so I closed my curtains straight away. The room was very clean and the bed was rather comfy. Although the kettle and television looked like they were won off... More

Ideal for where I needed to be during by stay in Blackburn and although there were is a McDonalds, Greggs and a Costa I don't like any of those Fast Food places, however there is a Coop as well on site so you can purchase F&B from there. Hotel rooms look a little 'tired' as do the communal areas, however... More

When checking in make sure you're at the rear side of the lodge ,we had room 117, and all you could hear all night was the sliding doors opening and closing,no sleep all night otherwise a good clean room,

This is a lodge at a motorway service area so its location will be ideal for some, as it was for me, but less so for others. It is not somewhere you would stay as a treat but if you need decent accommodation at reasonable price in the area, it is absolutely fine. There is free parking for hotel guests for... More

Clean, nice staff, good location for shops and eating out on site or in nearby Darwen. Good free parking. Shower and bath in en suite with great water pressure and hot water. would recommend as good value for money.

We are expats and lived in the East Lancashire area, so when we come "home" we try to stay local. This is my 3rd review for this travel lodge and you get what you pay for. We have found it quiet, great for shop/coffee/petrol and the staff continue to deliver good quality service. Why pay £80-100 when you can pay... More

Went to a wedding at a nearby and very expensive venue, had a great time and the Travelodge was ideal for everybody to stay over and get their heads down. It was spacious, clean and comfortable and with a variety of eateries underneath everyone was able to get a decent breakfast in the morning before they journeyed home. Would definitely... More

still undergoing refurbishment but excellent improvements already. a little out of way if travelling by public transport but good if you are driving and nice mcdonalds downstairs for breakfast and snacks. beds and pillows are good and bathrooms much improved. would stay here without hesitation.

Very noisy place to stay, your lucky if you see a member of staff to ask anything, when we arrived at the travel lodge there were lots of children playing football in the carpark so you had to watch your car didn,t get damaged. I would not want to stay there again.
