The hotel should not really advertise WIFI when they know WIFI does not reach the top floor. I went down to lobby to connect to Interned but was asked to leave at 10pm as they were locking the lobby. I ended up sitting on the stairs to be able to access Internet. Such a shame and dissapointment! I hope i... More

We stayed for a night at this hotel on the 17th December. Room was nice and comfortable if a little dated. We had the evening meal and whilst the food was very good, customer care was poor. Starter was fine but then the waiter brought the wrong meal for myself ( beef instead of fish). He apologised and took it... More

We'd stayed recently for a wedding nearby. The room was clean with the basic amenities. Unfortunately there were a few issues that let the hotel down: 1. The shower didn't work. Both my partner and I tried with no success to get the shower to work. This was, as you can imagine, really annoying, especially after a long day and... More

We have been any times for a Boxing Day meal and have enjoyed it. This time, however, we were disappointed. There were no table cloths on the tables, apart from the christmas tree you would not have known it was the festive season as a few pieces of tinsel didn't really create the expected atmosphere and there was no turkey... This was my second visit to the hotel and I'll certainly be back. Great welcome from the time I arrived. The rooms are nice, clean and spacious. The car park at the rear is easily accessible and well looked after. The food id lovely and the menu is changed often. Breakfast haddock and poached eggs are cooked nicer than anywhere... More

I had business in Clitheroe early in the morning so drove up the night before to stay and feel refreshed. What a pleasant stay I found. The hotel, like so many, advertises itself as "boutique" but in this case it really means it. The rooms and public areas are decrated to a comfortable high standard and are well maintained. The... Stayed for one night on a Saturday after going to a gig at the Grand, nice guy from the kitchen checked us in, rooms were cleaned & spacious with a good shower. Lovely full English breakfast, we would definitely stay again.

Had a two night stay here recently the first night spoiled by two inconsiderate people who chose to wake the whole hotel up at 3 am. That aside everything was good, fantastic breakfast and staff gave good advice re local amenities and walks. Would recommend and stay here again

Stayed one night visiting family in town. My room seem to have been recently refurbished and was well appointed, bed was comfortable but quite short, Im just 6'0" and so is the bed. Breakfast was plentiful and good. The communal areas and dining room are a little greyer however.

I've used this place before and raved about it in the past - but this time was a little disappointing! Its still clean and tidy but starting to show its age a little .. which is a shame as it was a brilliant find in the past. Straight away I noticed a new member of staff - the owner and... More
