We were in town for one night, arrived on a very wet Saturday afternoon. We were welcomed warmly. While we checked in at the reception desk by Wayne, Will went up to set up our room. Our room faced the front of the hotel giving us great views and vantage of the area. We went to breakfast the next morning... More

Stayed one night whilst at a wedding at nearby Eaves Hall. Large bedroom with big, comfy bed. Loads of little extras including the usual tea, coffee, biscuits etc along with sachets of orange cordial which I've never seen before and were a welcome touch when dehydrated! Really friendly staff and the fresh full english breakfast was brilliant.

Stayed here for two nights whilst at a wedding in Clitheroe. The hotel doesn't look particularly impressive on entry - rather dated and in need of a lick of paint here and there. However our room was very pleasantly decorated, clean and spacious, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was a good old fashioned full English - cooked to order which... More

Old fashioned pub/hotel in the middle of town. Parking was a bit tight at the back of the hotel. The room was just ok really and was nothing special. The bed was very uncomfortable - just far too soft and spongy. A little underwhelmed.

Stayed in a traditionally furnished single room with a very modern bathroom ( shower only) . The bed was very comfortable and there was a good selection of teas and coffees, including a cafetiere. Free wifi was easy to connect to and fast. Flat screen TV had Freeview channels. The hotel has no lift and my room was at the... More

This is a three star hotel that really makes the extra effort . The rooms were a good size and both the bedroom and bathroom was spotlessly clean. Good selection at breakfast, including fresh fruit, cereal and full English which was cooked to order and really good. What really made it was the excellent service, nothing was too much trouble... Room six first floor. I would not stay here again, for £80 for one night I have stayed in places of higher quality. The bed was very creaky which I did mention I was told I was unable to change rooms as they were full and they were not aware of it. Also the pluming was awful everytime the toilet... More
