The staff is extremely friendly. The food is excellent. The rooms are very good. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting. The village is also very picturesque and worth a long long walk. Thank you so much for a memorable time. I will most definitely come back for a visit.

Had B&B last night having previously had excellent lunch at this hotel. The room was stylishly furnished with hospitality tray and beautiful en suite bathroom with luxurious towels and plenty of hot water. Everything was very clean and breakfast permutations were extensive. The food as expected was very good and served hot. The hotel is situated in one of the... More

We had a wonderful stay in the Waddington Arms at Waddington near Clitheroe. The manager Andrew was truly welcoming and attentive. The young staff were well trained, enthusiastic and helpful. We had evening meals there both days, the food was delicious, we sampled everything from a well cooked whole plaice with lemon butter, a delicious lamb casserole and a vegetarian... More

Dirty tables poor service and the food quality has gone down hill fast The guy in charge looks stressed out and needs some help he used to be so friendly and funny the owners need to get a grip and maybe visit the higher buck for some direction What a shame used to be a great pub the staff need... Had one of the tastiest meals of my life - a lancashire hotpot with a rich gravy and hint of sweetness to die for. Beautiful old pub with flagstone floors and oozing history. Really helpful and welcoming staff, particularly the landlord who adds a personal flair to make you feel welcome. Brilliant place. Will be back and spend the night... More

Greeted by the very friendly owner Andrew. He and his well trained staff were faultless - nothing too much trouble - they went out of their way even though we arrived on a very busy day - the Waddington Duck Race! - obviously a very popular event. Room was very tasteful and in keeping with the building as were the... More

Had mixed dining experiences here over last 12 months but will not be returning after this recent episode. Steak sandwich was inedible with nearly half the steak gristle and fat. Member of staff described as 'chef' reported 'that is how steak comes and you should expect fat'! Any decent butcher/chef would have trimmed before serving. He would probably say the... More

Arrived here in pouring rain. One of us had cycled all day . We were warmly welcomed and had a late lunch in the bar which was served by the amusing manager. Our twin room was fine with a nice full bathroom and plenty hot water. Breakfast was good ,both continental and English fry. Theres an emergency access door to... More

We travelled a fair distance to the Waddington Arms after reading the very favourable reports about the food and staff friendliness. Well, I'm wondering now if there are two Waddington Arms in Waddington and we went to the wrong one! The pub itself was ok, if a little too 'rustic' and a bit too quiet with no background music. What... More
