We decided to take our Cocker Spaniel for a walk in the Waddington area ending with an early tea, after searching on the internet came across the Waddington Arms, the menu looked good and more importantly they were dog friendly so a table was booked. Arrived just after the time the table was booked for and ordered food and drink... More

Visited Mid-week for lunch and yes it was a good choice. I had the 'Curry Spiced Cod Loin,Saag Aloo, Basmati Rice' and it was very nice. All three of us enjoyed our (larger than average) meals and Joanna (waitress) was very helpful and hard working. The atmosphere and general interior were nice. The only disappointment was the STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING... More

An enjoyable evening meal pre- Christmas here with some long lost friends who were staying nearby. Lovely atmosphere and nice food which was good value for money - well priced. The most enjoyable aspect was that we were not rushed into leaving (other establishments in the Ribble Valley should take note). Part of the Warburton empire that has other premises... More

As a ex villager I have been frequenting this pub since I was a little lad. But since James Warburton transformed the place to a high quality pub/restaurant a few years ago,the standard has certainly improved. Well done Andrew and staff for all your hard work which has paid off.

I visited the Waddington arms today with a Party booking for 30 plus people for a Christmas Meal. The food was superb, very tasty and generous portions. The Service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I have a Gluten Free diet and ordered 2 courses, which I was very pleased with. It was a very enjoyable... More

Many thanks to Andrew (the young slender man behind the bar) and his staff for another great stay. The room was very comfortable and the food was fantastic - again. A good selection of drinks - lager, bitter and wine. The staff are all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. See you again soon.

Eight of us Senior Citizens visited for 3 nights for our annual get together. This was a repeat stay at the Waddington Arms, and it was superb as usual. Great pub food, and wonderful staff. Log fire in traditional country pub bar, and good selection of beers, The pub is well situated for those who like great walking, and only... More

We (5 walkers) have eaten here several times and love the ambiance and food at the Waddington Arms. 3 of us plumbed for the steak, blue cheese and caramelised onion ciabatta sandwich with trimmings, the second time we ordered this dish. Still absolutely delicious! Service is just great, and the beer's not bad either! Fast becoming one of our favourite... More

Had lunch here on two days and have to say it was really excellent. The food, service and atmosphere is lovely. It was so good the first day that we returned the next, having felt lucky to find such a lovely spot. We had the steak and ale pie, hotpot, and the fish and chips over the two days and... More

Just got back after spending two nights at the Waddington Arms, it is a delightful country pub. Our room was lovely , warm and very clean. Some reviewers complained about the church church but we did not hear it except when we had already woke up, it was great to lying in bed listening to the clock chime. The food... More
