Comfortable rooms. Good breakfast and good beer. It would be great if the showers were a little more powerful to scrub away a fuzzy morning head...but they are perfectly adequate. However, the best thing about this hotel and pub are the wonderful staff. They could not be more helpful and pleasant. Thank you for looking after us, it was a... More

We stayed for a wedding and were in room 2. It was spacious and had everything that we needed and more. The staff were amazing and the breakfast was brilliant. The added extras in the room made it more welcoming, like the biscuits and shampoo and conditioner. Lovely part of the world and a great place to stay.

My girlfriend and I stayed here on Thursday eve as we were attending a wedding in the day down the road at another hotel. They were able to offer us an early check in, promptly moved us into another room when there was a problem with the bathroom light and were generally very courteous, efficient and polite. Can thoroughly recommend... More

Our journey north to visit friends was quicker than we expected and we arrived at the hotel well before checking-in time. "No problem" said the member of staff who greeted us at the bar. We had entered the pub end and not the hotel end but it obviously didn't matter to the staff. Our room was ready and we could... More

We stayed here for one night, whilst attending a friends wedding just down the road at the Shireburn Arms. When we arrived we got told our room wasn't ready so another room was found for us, which was clean and a reasonable size. We weren't given any information about the hotel, timings of breakfast etc. We dropped our bags off... More

Hello many thanks for your feedback regarding your stay. If you weren't informed around breakfast times I can only apologize and to rectify this now and for the future we'll display these times at reception as well as brief all staff that this has to be done on any customer arrival. Also a little flexibility if we failed to inform... More

We had been on a long walk by the River Ribble and stopped at the Bayleys for a drink and food. It was all superb, the service couldn't have been better and the food was delicious. We will definitely go again - a perfect end to a perfect day!!

First time we've been but will definitely be going back. Everything was first rate my husband had the minted lamb suet pudding from the specials board and I had the huge gammon with all the trimmings...... Both excellent. A nice bottle of wine not badly priced all served in lovely surroundings by a young waitress who was polite and attentive... More

The Bayley Arms is situated in lovely Lancashire countryside, and offers comfortable rooms, great food and very friendly staff. We were quite a big group but they coped cheerfully with our different requests and nothing was too much trouble.

For the second time in three years, we have taken a party of 15 adults to stay at the Bayley Arms for a two day break and as a base for a walking holiday. The location of the venue is ideal for many walks. The rooms are spacious and the staff extremely helpful and obliging. Before dinner, tables were re-organised... More
