Booked a couple of rooms for a family wedding the following day at Stonyhurst. From the moment we arrived to the minute we departed, we were all looked after and made to feel very welcome. Many thanks to Max and the other members of staff for a great stay

Having been so impressed with our lunch here in Autumn last year, we brought the caravan to a nearby site, and called for lunch on our wedding anniversary. The place is still immaculate, and the menu is still good for meat eaters and vegetarians. We arrived just before mid-day, and it was apparent, that the solitary bar man, was dealing... More

Very welcoming, cosy and child friendly pub. My son loves the childs portion of chicken and chips. The staff are very accommodating when he wants something other than beans or peas with his dish! Excellent pub!

The Bayley Arms catered for 30 for a golf club lunch which was excellently prepared and presented. The meal was enjoyed by all and was very good value for money. The staff were pleasant, efficient and flexible to meet all dietary requirements. Highly recommended. Richard Moody

I stayed one night at the Bayley Arms and was very disappointed. The room was tired and dated but spacious and clean, the shower was an under powered electric shower over a bath that was very slippery when wet and a non slip mat was not supplied. Breakfast was acceptable and served by a pleasant young man who did his... More

Driving through Lancashire on a Saturday afternoon we came across Hurst Green. A lovely little busy village with a choice of restaurants .We chose this one because there was somewhere to park. Recently refurbished to a high standard and a warm welcome on arrival. We chose a table with bench seating near the door and well lit from the large... More

Dined here as group of 8 the other day and had a wonderful meal. 3 of the party had beef suet pudding which was great. It came with home cooked chips and mushy peas and was just the ticket considering the fowl weather. Kids meals were also very nice, real chicken fillet not processed. Another worth a mention was the gammon.... More
