A group of us took over the B&B for a wedding at the Inn at Whitewell. Everything was well organised and the rooms were modern and very clean. Bathrooms may need a modernisation at some point but the are well services and very clean. Great facilities and very friendly staff. The breakfast was plentiful and of excellent quality. Thick bacon... More

Stayed at this lovely Victorian property which has been decorated to a high standard, situated in a quiet area and just a stroll into town. Breakfast excellent, served in pleasant surroundings by friendly staff. In our opinion the Hotel Inspector would be impressed. The Brooklyn is simply a top class guest house that sets the standard others should follow.

I stayed with a friend and upon arrival we were greeted by Jayne who quickly showed us our room with no fuss. The room was spotless and nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable and on a quiet road. Less than 2 min walk to town centre. Excellent value for money.

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting our various family in the area. We are so pleased to have found it. We are a family of 5 and were given the lovely annexe to stay in. We were expecting somewhere nice having read the reviews, but what we got was so much more. 2 spotless interconnecting rooms, with 2... More

Very good quality made excellent by the value and great service. Without reviewing every aspect of our stay the owner opened up the house for us (we were the only ones staying that night) and then accommodated for our stay perfectly. This was made more impressive given we didn't call for the reservation until after 7, arriving at 20:30. In... More

Our 3rd time staying in this wonderful house. Well appointed and decor to suit; all spick and span. Breakfast is amongst the very best we have tasted anywhere in Britain. Next time we visit Clitheroe it will be Brooklyn as our first choice.

I was brought up in Clitheroe and return to visit my elderly mother. For those who don't know, Clitheroe is an attractive market town in the beautiful and rural Ribble Valley - a good centre for walks and excursion. I've stayed very comfortably many times in various rooms at Brooklyn, which proprietor Jayne Ball maintains to a high standard -... More
