Stayed here 2nights on a golf trip to Clitheroe. Simply the best Guest House I have ever stayed in. Spotlessly clean, great food, lovely room, friendly owners, parking facilities. All you could want at a very reasonable price.

Very good quality made excellent by the value and great service. Without reviewing every aspect of our stay the owner opened up the house for us (we were the only ones staying that night) and then accommodated for our stay perfectly. This was made more impressive given we didn't call for the reservation until after 7, arriving at 20:30. In... More

Our 3rd time staying in this wonderful house. Well appointed and decor to suit; all spick and span. Breakfast is amongst the very best we have tasted anywhere in Britain. Next time we visit Clitheroe it will be Brooklyn as our first choice.

I was brought up in Clitheroe and return to visit my elderly mother. For those who don't know, Clitheroe is an attractive market town in the beautiful and rural Ribble Valley - a good centre for walks and excursion. I've stayed very comfortably many times in various rooms at Brooklyn, which proprietor Jayne Ball maintains to a high standard -... More

Can't recommend highly enough!!! Jayne and Laura are both so welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in an interconnecting room which was just perfect. The accommodation is to a high standard and is absolutely spotless. The full english breakfast was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back again. The welcome was warm and the room even warmer ( I had to turn the heating down ). Run by Mother and Daughter the rooms at Brooklyn are very clean and well furnished, had it not been for a few minor maintenance issues it would have been perfect. Breakfast is served in the spacious dining room and is well cooked... More

We arrived from 40 deg heat in Australia to 3degs in Clitheroe and I was a little worried about feeling the cold. Both the room and the house were very warm and warmer still was the welcome from Jane. She made us feel right at home without being to interfering. Our twin room was large and clean and the bathroom... More

We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children and we recently stayed in rooms 7&8 with room 8 set up as a twin which connected through to our room, room7 (King size, hurrah!), and this was perfect for our needs. The rooms are modern, and well equipped with great en-suite bathrooms. Room 7 has a small kitchen... More
