We arrived on a Saturday lunchtime when the bar area was busy-but once upstairs, it was quiet and better quality accommodation than most more expensive hotels we have stayed in. Large room, with high ceilings-and spotlessly clean. We ate in the restaurant-quite basic choices, but home made and well cooked. Meat and veggie burgers were both great! Only downside was... More

I stayed here for one night and was very pleased with the comfortable bed and good shower. I checked in at about 6pm, but then was returning after 10pm and was directed to use the outside back stairs - this worked well and I was relieved that there was good lighting in the area. The staff were friendly and efficient... More

We was attending a wedding at Mitton Hall which started at 2:30. I rang up the Station 2 days before who arranged that we could check in early. They also booked a taxi for us to take us to the wedding. Whilst waiting for the taxi we had a lovely lunch which was well priced. The room itself (York) was... More

Arrived very tired after a long journey, looking forward to a comfortable night's stay. No such luck...had to wait at the Bar for 10 minutes hoping someone would appear as there were no directions to any form of check in area. Eventually someone appeared and took us to our room what followed was akin to Fawlty Towers....... Doors did not... More

Stayed here on Sunday for one night....our room was clean and functional but....bland and underwhelming ...with a faint odour of something we couldn't quite place.the staff were OK if somewhat uninterested....the lone barman called time about 9.30 pm ? We asked twice about breakfast times but they couldn't decide between 8 or 9am ...which did seem very early for lazy... More

Visited here again as lovely food at reasonable prices in nice surroundings. Good menu choice Along with a specials board. Friendly helpful staff too. Had a delicious cheese and onion pie, chunky chips and gravy, dad had gammon and mum had roast turkey dinner. No complaints from anyone.

Just stayed here for 2 nights this week. My room was called "Edinburgh".. As the name also tells, the hotel is located next to the station.. Rooms are clean, all the staff are friendly. There are cool quotes written on the walls, in the lobby area about beer :) Building looks very nice from outside. Definitely would come again if... More

I stayed at the Inn at the Station for one night in October. The room was gorgeously decorated, with high ceilings and floor length, thick curtains. Despite the hotel being situated on the main street in Clitheroe, the room was quiet and the curtains kept out all the street lighting so a good nights sleep was had. The room was... More
