Really enjoyed lunch once again . Compliments to the Chef . Our second lunch visit and although a Wedding was ongoing we were treated with the usual respect and good service . On first realising there was a large party we were about to leave. No problem , we were ushered into a more private dining area for our meal,... More

I got married here on 4th May and we had such a wonderful day. The staff are absolutely brilliant, the wedding planner Sarah and Marlon the master of ceremonies were just so accomodating and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. We booked Mitton Hall 2 years ago and since that date, we have been on many occassions... More

My husband and I came back exactly a year on from when we had our wedding reception. On the day of our wedding the staff and food were fabulous and it was no different a year on. We had pre booked a table for 7 people for lunch and we were greeted and seated with drinks very quickly but not... More

This is a tricky one to review - My family and I were here for a wedding in June 2014, but we were also staying as hotel guests, so I will try to consider both concepts here. The hotel is a former 15th century manor house, set in beautiful grounds. Plenty of car parking space, except when we first arrived... More

Struggled to sleep with the party underneath. Loud!!!! I could hear people having a conversation beneath me, pity it wasnt interesting. The bar bit is great, very modern and with a fantastic terrace. Beer was dull, with quite a poor choice and the usual Bowland beer that is ubiquitous around those parts. Seating and ambience though is a class above.... More

OK so it was great weather when I stayed and sitting on the terrace with a cool drink looking at the beautiful scenery will make anyone feel good about the place but a great hotel none the less. The main reception area feels like classic baronial hall but then you move into the modern conservatory area. Lots of chairs and... More

We came here for a meal for Fathers Day with our two daughters who both now live down in London. The day was perfect, the staff were top mark, the food was wonderful and the setting superb. I can thoroughly recommend the brisket of beef, it was absolutely wonderful and the portion size was massive. I would recommend this hotel... More

We have just returned from a 7 hour lovely long lunch in the restaurant at Mitton Hall. What a lovely day. The welcome was warm. The ambiance relaxing and friendly and the surroundings are really beautiful! The menu is varied and the outside area is picturesque. The scallops and pea ravioli are to die for starters, the brisket main melts... More

Mitton hall is a beautiful hotel in a stunning location. We turned up on the spur of the moment for wedding viewing and the bar manager Matthew was extremely friendly and very helpful!! Thank you so much for everything, we couldn't have asked for more. We look forward to visiting again for the wedding open day on 29th June. :-)
