Very friendly helpful staff, beautiful hotel, stunning inside and out, if I wanted a weekend away with friends or husband I would surely book here. However, for a business traveller then their standard rooms are not suitable. Tiny room, low bed, no desk, no where to put your suitcase. There are no phones in the room so any issues you... More

My Wife and I attended a wedding last Friday and stayed the night in room 115. The wedding was fantastic, the Wedding Breakfast was delivered with impeccable efficiency. Well presented and great food. I would highly recommend the Lamb. The surroundings were full of character and the ambiance supported a memorable day. The bedrooms were modern and tastefully decorated, the... More

My husband and I visited Mitton Hall today to celebrate our 1st year wedding anniversary. We had the Champagne Afternoon Tea and it was delicious. The staff where very friendly and polite. When other visitors received their food, we had a little look and the food looked very nice and well presented. We will definitely be going again in the... More

Only live about half a mile from Mitton Hall so could probably class this as our local. What a great local to have. Setting is idilic. Food sublime. Service excellent. Visited on many occasions. Never been disappointed. Consistently good. Outdoor seating area to rear beautiful for a romantic evening meal.

lovely boutique country house type hotel in rural Lancashire. friendly and helpful staff. really clean, quiet and comfortable, with a great bar and outside terrace area. it was really handy to the local golf club where my colleagues and I were playing. and it looked like there were some nice pubs and restaurants in the area. we did not eat... I stayed for one night with work and Mitton hall is beautiful, the hall is stunning and would be a beautiful wedding venue. The standard double room was small and could do with abit more character but everything else makes up for it. I would have liked the breakfast menu to be slightly more varied but the poached eggs that... More

This was booked as a birthday treat for my husband, we usually prefer the freedom of a cottage, but I decided we would be pampered on this break. The hotel itself is a beautiful building, and all of the staff were very polite and helpful. The room was on the small side, and had no drawers so we had to... More

Booked a one night stay to celebrate a birthday on the hotel's special summer rate. Location is superb and the building looks imposing as you drive up to the front. Reception is in the imposing hall with its minstrel gallery and very pleasant receptionist. Given a standard room(106) which was reached through corridors with four fire doors. Room was very... More

Really enjoyed lunch once again . Compliments to the Chef . Our second lunch visit and although a Wedding was ongoing we were treated with the usual respect and good service . On first realising there was a large party we were about to leave. No problem , we were ushered into a more private dining area for our meal,... More

I got married here on 4th May and we had such a wonderful day. The staff are absolutely brilliant, the wedding planner Sarah and Marlon the master of ceremonies were just so accomodating and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. We booked Mitton Hall 2 years ago and since that date, we have been on many occassions... More
