After a five hour journey from Sussex we were saved by The Pines Hotel. We were booked in at another hotel who let us down at the last minute but The Pines, after a quick phone call saved us. We were visiting relatives, my husband and I and my Father. We were offered rooms opposite each other and also on... More

i I have stayed at the pines on and off for the last month or so and have really been impressed with the hotel. The rooms are fantastic and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is such a high standard, and the service is first class. 3 courses for less than £20 and I... More

The Pines is a lovely old Hotel, good atmosphere and friendly staff. My husband and I attended a family Golden Wedding Dinner, the food was superb,Considering we all had different meals it was all very hot and presented with great artistic merit, not just chucked on the plate.Everybody was very complimentary ,not one grumble!how rare is that.

Been here a few times and never disappointed. Not only is it a Hotel but organises many functions of which are great as well. The Hotel is in a great location with easy access to Blackpool one way and Manchester the other

A family function was held at this hotel 1st November and we travelled up from South Wales to stay 2 nights. We were accompanied by daughter her husband and two children aged 5 and 3. There were no family rooms so they had a suite, The Beverly Suite which was two rooms one with a 4 poster bed and the... More

We came to a charity event and i have to say i have never come across such rude and miserable staff!!! All night not one even cracked a smile (i was later led to believe one of the worst i had come into contact with was in fact the owner!) When we ordered 2 drinks at the bar and the... More

We booked last minute on Friday 17th October and whilst the restaurant was full with a private function we ate in the Latham Suite, which was lovely. The whole place was very busy but we received perfect service, nothing was rushed nor were we waiting. The food was excellent, I had Monkfish Scampi and it was simply delicious.

Great night, good entertainment. I found it very funny that the act kept changing their outfit, we nick named the lead singer Mr Ben. The food was average, I didn't enjoy the pate but others in my party thought it was good. The service was faultless and the food was hot when served. Great party atmosphere and nicely decorated. Good... More

We had not visited here for sometime but decided to call in en route home after 3 days break in Cumbria. After studying the menu in the bar/lounge we selected sandwiches off the comprehensive lunch menu. The various sandwiches, served with salad and novel baskets of lovely chips, were delicious and for me a tasty pint of Tetley Extra Cold... More

I was here on business for a meeting. When we arrived the meeting room wasn't ready so we took tea in the conservatory. I have to say that this hotel is quaint and somewhat ornate in decor which might not suit some but I found quite quirky! I can really only comment on lunch which, although could have been a... More
