I am currently staying at the Pines and was a little confused regarding some of the negative comments posted by previous guests regarding the hotel which I have just read. I think its important that the hotel is given the credit it deserves and being half way through my 7 day stay I feel I am now in a position... More

The Pines hotel is situated on the A6 between Chorley and Preston. It is a 3 star AA rated hotel with a large car parking area and some really attractive grounds. The lounge, dining room and breakfast room are all very tastefully decorated with some very unusual and attractive furniture. The bedrooms are all very individual and comfortable, but in... More

Visited for lunch with two of my friends on Friday afternoon. The front reception room is a bit confusing as people were eating at tables quite close to the entrance door although the decoration is quite nice. We were seated at a low table near the bar and were attended to almost straight away. My friends had had tea and... More

My best friends wedding was the 25th April and the pines was the perfect venue. Staff were welcoming and attentive and couldn't do enough for you. The master of service was incredible! Food was hot and well presented! Couldn't fault it..don't understand how people can moan in all honesty. We didn't stay over but the rooms I saw were lovely.

Amazing! My husband and I got married in the Dixon suite on 25/4/15. Not one of our 190 guests have had one bad word to say about The Pines. The staff, decoration of the room, food, grounds and hotel accommodation were fantastic. We couldn't recommend this place enough. Our wedding day was perfect thanks to the lovely owner Mrs Duffin... Went to the hotel for a wedding which I have to say was very nice. the wedding room was lovely and the food was good and hot, the waiting staff were attentive and we had a lovely time. BUT the hotel itself is very shabby, such a shame as the original house was beautiful when it was a house. Our... More

I'm not one for moaning, but I'll make an exception in this case. I'm about to go to bed for a second night here and I have not had a good experience. Two things have gone wrong. The first is the lack of adequate hot water. I arrived very late last night, tried to run a shower and got only... More

Celebrated a golden wedding with 50 people. Food was delicious, staff attentive & setting\conservatory made it. A few were delayed getting meal but to be expected with such a large party. Would recommend and don't recognize the place commented on below.
