I always stay at the Maple Lodge and find everything is always spot on. The rooms have everything you may need and are spotless and clean. I always stay in the annexe which is very quiet even though it is on a main rd. It is situated near to bus stops so once parked up you can relax and use... More

I needed somewhere to stay whilst visiting family . This B&B is perfect for that . The room was very comfortable and had nice little touches . It was very clean . Despite being on a busy road, at night it was surprisingly quiet . I was in a room in the lodge, which is a separate annexe. Breakfast was... More

My friend and I were going to the Accrington Stanley game and this place is within 15 minutes walk. We shared room 5 which had two comfortable single beds, TV, ensuite shower/toliet. Everything was of a good quality. We liked the touch of there being some DVDs and books in the room. We had an evening meal in their small... More

This reviewer can remember the Golden Age of Cortina (later Mondeo/Cavalier etc.) Man, when the roads teemed with expense account wielding business types filling the long-gone Trust- House Forte and similar hotel chains. Reps in their Cortina L's were confined to Trust Houses. Executives (Cortina GL's and above) got to stay in Forte Crest's. Happy Days! Then the accountants took... More

This is a really nice place to stay with a big welcome I have stayed here on two occasions so far. I was torn between keeping this Hotel my little secret, or sharing the information with fellow travelers. But a sense of fairness one through, this really is a delightful little Hotel with very friendly people looking after you. It... More

I stayed here in mid January for seven nights prior to commencing a new job in the area. Seemed a bit pricey for the area, but the room was en-suite very comfortable and very pleasant. Robert was an excellent host, knowledgeable and chatty, and told me a great deal about himself and good local places to eat. Was well located... More

Stayed here for one night whilst on business as i had a meeting next morning in the area. Area is a residential area with rows of terrace houses to the rear and front. Its very homely and friendly place. It's really an old house that has been converted into a small Hotel. Met by Robert who was very friendly and... More

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, and are glad that overall you were satisfied. The main house is 300 years old and we have tried to keep character in it. The Lodge is decorated in a contempory style as it was only built a few years ago. If you would like one of these rooms on... More
