Stayed here the one night. Check in is 2pm but were were allowed in at 1 as our room was ready. Check in was fast and everything explained clearly by the lady on reception. “Excellent ...despite the unseasonal snow :-)”

Stayed at the weekend and expected spring sunshine and got snow! The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was just what you want. Nice, clean and tidy and very quiet... and warm!

“A very welcoming hotel”

Stayed overnight at this hotel as it is close to where my daughter and family live, so very convenient. Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was as lovely and clean as ever. We weren't too keen on the restaurant next door for dinner as service was very slow and the decor needed an update, but breakfast there was good.

2 of party were disabled, we parked in the disabled parking right outside the entrance, no steps to reception a very short walk away. booked 2 adjoining rooms on ground floor. “A good location to stay”

A clean, comfortable and reasonable hotel. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The adjacent restaurant The Yarrow Bridge in dire need of a refurbishment though the food was inexpensive though service poor.
