As a pensioner we arrived tired, in the dark and had some difficulty finding the hotel entrance. When we got a parking space we booked in and got the last room. We did not see signs and at reception no mention was made about parking. Arriving home we have a £100 parking fine. I have tried to contact hotel by... More

This is our first time in a Day's Inn and found it to be very pleasant,Comfortable and clean with a decent breakfast. Bath room probably could do with a little bit of a re-furb but on the whole worth the stay with a reasonable price to pay. No doubt we will use a Day's Inn again in the near future.

For £40 you get a comfy bed, good nights sleep and a hot shower. Could do with a lick of paint but if it's in the right place for your journey it's perfect. Don't bother with the breakfast there's better in the service station opposite and you can get a decent cup of coffee.

For those on a long journey up the M6 and looking for very convenient budget accommodation, this fits the bill. Clean and comfortable with good parking, a small bar and adequate breakfast available. Staff were particularly pleasant and helpful. The Hotel is in need of considerable refurbishment but, at the price I paid, represents good value - hence my rating.

stayed here for a night in april, couldn't get in our usual place because of the grand national. was pleasantly surprised, room was clean, spacious and bed was very comfortable. they also let my two little dogs stay and not once did we feel this was an imposition. the staff were helpful and informative would definitely stay here again
