We stayed this weekend for a reunion of a group of school friends. The service was very efficient and genuinely friendly caring staff. We had a meal in the private dinning restaurant which is superbly decorated to an exceptional standard. We stayed in a suite which was as good as any 5 star hotel I have stayed in with better... Me and my partner booked a room for my sisters wedding. When we arrived we asked for a travel cot for our daughter aged 15 months. After the party we went to bed approx 1.30am. At 2.30am we were bagged up as the hotel had actually given us the travel cot of the bride! They didn't have any others available...... More

I am sorry that you feel this way. The lady whose wedding you attended had arranged the room arrangements for you and had not expressed that you needed a travel cot in the room. Had you maybe mentioned this when you checked in rather than 2.30am in the morning we could have remidied the situation, as it stood all our... More

All past reviews of this hotel mention its quirkyness. This is true, very elaborate decor from the mid 1860s, and lots of false flower arrangements especially in the bedrooms which were not necessary but the staff are really friendly and helpful and the food was good. It was excellent value for money. I have marked down on sleep quality only... More

After finding the Rosehill House Hotel via the web, the location suited me and I was not disappointed. There is ample free parking and the welcome was warm, friendly and efficient. Although the room was a little on the small side, it still had everything that I needed and was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant looked very inviting so... More

The hotel was easy to find, greeted with a nice friendly face at reception, we went to our room (22) was pleasantly surprised at the size and cleanliness of the room, the only downside was the double bed! looked like it had been broken and fixed witl a piece of wood on the footboard. Breakfast in the morning tho was... More

We are originally from Burnley and returned to visit family. This is the third time that we have visited this hotel but the first time we have actually stayed .We initially booked for a couple of nights but ended up staying for a week . Our accommodation was excellent and we found that the service and hospitality afforded to us exceeded... More

My husband and i stayed here last weekend for our first wedding anniversary and had the most wonderful stay. The hotel itself is a beautiful building, full of character and grandeur but so comfortable and homely at the same time. We spent most of the afternoon wandering around the hotel, playing snooker in the cellar and relaxing in the bar!... More

I have just come back from spending one night here on business. It's in a great location, only approximately 1km from the Town centre. There is a good amount of secure parking and far enough from the main road to be quiet. The staff are helpful and friendly and the room was spacious and relatively modern. My only niggle is... More

We have stayed here twice before as we have family nearby and knew that it was best to stay in the main house. We booked direct with the hotel and asked for an executive suite. The room was lovely, clean and spacious with a generous sized bathroom. We had driven a long way and desperately needed a shower so we... More
