In an ideal location just off the motorway it saved us a fair bit than staying in the city centre. The main issue I have with this hotel is that the postcode provided on the website take you to the small village of Birch which is about 10 minutes from the hotel. The room was clean and quiet considering the... More

We stayed two nights (Friday and Saturday) and got a good price for the two nights. The issues we had with the room were: the TV bracket was wobbly and loose and about to fall off the sideboard and my partner had to tighten this up. The TV stopped working on the Saturday night and we had to get someone... More

Clean hotel with friendly staff. In a conveinent location for my business trip ideal just on the service station. It meant that all facilities were available for food and drink. Free parking was a bonus on a budget room

We went here for a trip into the museum of science and industry. Room was spacious and comfy. Perfect for a short stay. Although this is in the services right off the motorway we did not hear any traffic noise in the room and we were in a room facing the services car park. Travelodge were wonderful with us as... We were visiting family and friends in Middleton and needed somewhere to stay for one night. We were a bit worried about noise from the service station but we didn't need to be. The room was spacious and the bed very very comfy, there was no noise what so ever from the car park out side. You don't have to... More

This hotel is one of the older style and has been updated, the room was very clean and tidy as was the bathroom. The young man on reception was friendly and helpful. The bed was new and very comfortable. It was great to see two chairs in the room as opposed to the usual one and that that are better than the horrible plastic... For less than £50, this room actually beat some of the more expensive hotels we would normally stay in. the room was huge, with good facilities and a decent bathroom. The beds were amazingly comfortable, and there was practically no noise, despite being right next to both a motorway and lorry park! It was definitely a good idea to stay... More

We arrived at what we thought was the hotel and got told it was the other side of the motorway. They told us to go back on the motor and do a big loop to get to the other hotel, during this time there was a incident and the roads were at a standstill. We asked if we could leave... More

Room itself was Ok, stayed for 8 nights, what a mistake. This is just a roadhouse stay, maybe ok for a night but no more. Right outside our window was a parking bay for trucks, about 20 massive ones, many coming and going throughout the night, you can't sleep it's so noisy, or open your curtains, zero privacy. Daily room... More

I found the staff their to be very friendly and helpful. The room clean and tidy and just what you would expect from a Travelodge. It was just we needed affordable and conveniently placed as we were there to visit the Coronation Street Tour.
