We stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of November and were very pleased with the welcome, choice of room and hospitality we received from John and Jean. Our room was a little cold but John quickly sorted the problem. As others have said the breakfast was excellent and really set us up for the day. Would happily return for... More

We were allowed to see the room before we paid for it. It was small, quite standard with a tiny bathroom. The kettle cable was so small you had to put it on the floor to boil. In our 24 hours there, we didnt have any hot water, my partner and I both had to wash over a tiny hand... More

We decided to stay at Windy Ridge at short notice on the night of the "big storm"! Our party was myself, husband and our 6 year old, my sister and brother in law and their 5 & 7 year old and my mum! We received a warm welcome from Jean and John and were pleased to come in out of... More

I visited for two nights for a wedding in Whitstable. I had one of the smaller rooms which was very comfortable and I slept very well. Owners were very welcoming and kind. Breakfast was fab, both the hot food and the cold options. Freshly cooked and great quality. Whitstable centre is a short drive or taxi ride away and the... More

My partner and I stayed in the summer for an enjoyable, interesting weekend in Whitstable smattered with bizarre moments at Windy Ridge. It is only since reading Trip Advisor since, that I have felt compelled to dig into my inner author and write this as others seem to have had similar experiences! On arrival we were greeted by a cheerful... More

I will be fair, room - fine, lovely view, breakfast - fine, customer service - lacking. Jean and John were very chatty upon our arrival. As with everyone else, the bill was paid in full when we arrived. Not what is usually expected. We were shown to our room, Number 7 at the top of the old part of the house.... More

The Windy Ridge is a lovely place with beautiful view over the sea. We have stayed one night in the Musician's room and it was absolutely awesome! The whole house is charming and is a complete picture from the past, something unusual these days. Jean and John are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely, we highly recommend staying... More

We stayed at Windy Ridge for a full week and utterly enjoyed our week of holiday there. We had a lovely room called "The Majestic", in which we didn't miss anything. The tidiness was top-notch. The owners of Windy Ridge are extremely friendly, polite and give you a feeling of warmth and being welcome the minute you step into the... More

Spectacular panoramic sea views. Shower and breakfast marvellous as well as the very friendly, hospitable owners. Would highly recommend using this excellent B & B. They saved our holiday as we were badly let down by The Cherries, B & B when receiving an email 10p.m. the night before leaving. We only saw the email when just about to leave... More
