We booked New Year's Eve in the Pearl Fisher as we had dinner booked in nearby Tankerton. As soon as I'd made the booking, I received a welcoming letter from owners Jan and Gary confirming the booking, and helpfully noting that they hoped we'd already booked a restaurant, as they were likely to be difficult to come by at that... We stayed here almost two weeks ago in The Old Saybrook Room it was lovely spotlessly clean and very cosy. The bed was very comfortable and we felt really at home here. Gary & Jan were excellent hosts, we had already booked our meal for the evening prior to arriving but if we hadn't Gary did have extensive brochures to... More

We only spent a single night, but it's a good, clean, well located, upmarket B&B. Nice room and bed, proper bathroom ( en suite), Excellent breakfast. Limited street parking, but they can fit a few cars around the back, and walking distance to all the world class fish restaurants that Whitstable is famous for.

Given 4 stars here and maybe bit on generous side. Stayed for one night with better half for her birthday. My parents also stayed in a separate room. Jan and Gary were good hosts. There was a very pleasant feeling to B&B, brilliant breakfast but slightly let down by our small room, hairs in bath on arrival, bed too soft... More

My wife and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary. It is located in a residential street, close to the railway station and about 5 minutes' walk from town, but it is quiet at night. We had a warm welcome and the breakfast was fantastic.

My husband and I booked two rooms for one night to celebrate our friend Pat's birthday in Whitstable. We had a wonderful stay at this B&B, five minutes walk from town centre. Both Janet and Gary were helpful and provided us with a very comfortable stay in two beautiful and very clean rooms. The breakfast was lovely.

Jan and Gary are great hosts..the bed was the most comfortable that I have slept in for many a long year. The breakfasts were excellent (Large variety)...3 minutes from Whitstable Station. Give it a try. Martin and Lynda

My wife and I stayed in the suite for one night over the bank holiday, can't speak highly enough of the hospitality and particularly the breakfast. Location is 5 minutes' walk away from the town centre, there is a private car park to the rear and the room is well-equipped and very comfortable. All in all it does what it... More

The Pearl Fisher such a lovely B&B but more than just that - Jan & Gary are lovely. We had the garden room and had the honour of being the last guests ever to stay in there as this beautiful place is now sadly downsizing They will still have rooms available just not as many - if you need a... We must agree with Julie066 in that Jan and Gary are great fun to stay with and we were extremely comfortable in the Garden Room (complete with our own gazebo in the garden just outside the bedroom). The outstanding part of our stay was the amazing breakfast. Even Alex Polizzi (the gorgeous hotel inspector) would have approved since we counted... More
