We stayed for a couple of nights over the Oyster weekend. Our room was very clean and had lots of nice little touches that many other B&Bs would not offer. We were only a 5 minute stroll from the heart of Whitstable and the owners were very helpful in terms of what to go and see. You have your own... more

I won't rewrite all the great things and descriptions that others have already written. It suffices to say that this is a great B&B. We stayed in the Garden Room and can't wait to go back. I would highly recommend the Pearl Fisher to anyone. more

We have never been made to feel so welcome, comfortable and at home. REAL coffee in the bedroom! Jan and Gary made us feel at ease - I would recommend the Pearl Fisher wholeheartedly. Heather and Andrea more

I'd simply like to echo the sentiments of other reviewers of this charming B&B. I found the owners to be friendly and helpful. Well located. Clean and tidy. Spacious room. Thoughtful attention to detail. Very nice breakfast. Recommended. more

The Pearl Fisher is just off the main high street and is a real tardis, it doesn't look big from outside, but once inside the rooms just go on and on. We were lucky enough to book the Garden Room which has its own private entrance and looks out onto the peaceful garden, you get first dibs on having breakfast... more

I booked the evening of our 5th Anniversary as a surprise for my husband. We live 35 minutes down the train line from Whitstable, and have enjoyed it on previous day trips. We were having lunch at the Crab & Winkle, and I thought as we couldn't afford to get away for the whole weekend, it being Easter Weekend, that... more

We have just returned from an overnight stay in this wonderful B&B. Jan and Gary couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. We had booked for ourselves and for a couple of friends, and were given the Old Saybrook and Garden rooms. Both were beautifully decorated according to theme, and when shown to our room we found thick white towels... more

My husband and I escaped for the weekend to hit the pause button. The Windsor Room at The Pearl Fisher was just what we needed. Such a comfy bed, with the romanticism of a four-poster! Great details like complimentary papers, the first time I've managed to read the weekend papers properly for ages, turned down beds, with chocolates! Breakfasts were... more

You won't be dissappointed with this friendly B&B in short-walking distance from Whitstable's harbour. A warm welcome awaits all visitors from Jan and Gary who pride themselves on the interesting and cosy themes of the rooms they have designed themselves. We five stayed in the Awabi suite and benefited from the spaciousness of the two rooms plus bathroom, and including... more

Believe everything you've read. I simply can't imagine anyone regretting a stay at Linda and Gary's little gem. The garden suite was reminiscent of a Brighton boutique hotel, the owners a hoot, the food legendary and the welcome warm. One warning: Zadoc aka baby the cat can be a little grumpy. Maybe he didn't like us, but all the same,... more
